We walked in there was bits all over the floor the carpet was dirty. We went to our assigned room, the curtains were hanging off and stapled on. There was mold all over the walls, the bathroom especially had black mold my partner is pregnant and I also brought my son who has asthma that’s a health and safety hazard. The window sill had dead flies, dust, hair and dirt. The beds had black bits on. We asked to be moved to another room which wasn’t as bad but again carpets dirty, under the bed was horrendous. We were nervous about the breakfast we would have the next morning. We were right to be, the table clothes were dirty, each table looked as though it had been used, we sat down and there was a curly black hair on the plate. We spoke to the other guest and they said it was bad. We made an excuse and left, the man offered to put the breakfast in a bag. We accepted as we felt bad as he had already cooked our food. We looked inside it was half a bottle of dirty orange juice, half a bag of eaten sweets, and the breakfast was placed in dirty Tupperware. It would be unimaginable to have eaten that or feed it to my son, we had to go for breakfast elsewhere. I don’t think the man actually realises how bad it is, it’s a good location that could be a great place but it’s extremely neglected. Hence why there was probably only 2 guests, on a weekend with hot weather it could be packed. Even though it was cheap it wasn’t worth the money, you expect despite the price a certain level of health and safety and cleanliness which simply wasn’t provided. This place needs to be visited and assessed and the management needs to be spoken to about maintaining cleanliness.

I don't like anything to be avoided at all costs

I personally liked nothing very dirty hotel, Dog hair's every were stained mattress my Daughter had to physically help change mattress shower very smelly when put on a load of yellow stuff came out plumbing problems overall in need of repairs to be avoided at all costs

Didnt even stay the night there.the place is nkthing like the picture on booking.com all that is a con.on the front of the place was a sign saying its a indian takeaway then a piece of paper stuck inthe window saying Dora hotel.As you entered there was broken glass in the front door .the s ell was atrocious and it was absolutely filthy. Went up to the next floor to check out my room.couldn't even hold on to the handrail as it was filthy and the carpet on the stairs was black and sticky.when tried to unlock the door there was so ething behind it stopping from opening.after a few attemps a young lad opened the door n run off.prooves they hadnt got the room ready for me and i hate to think what was going on in that room for the young lad to have to barricade himself in.when confronting the owner n saying no way could myself my daughter n 2 young grandchildren stay in such a squalor he offered me £20 and a free pizza.dont understand how such an appalling place can even be on booki ng.com dont they check the places out first.ive lost £190 as booking . Com will not refund my payment but offered me £19 in credits to use on my next booking with them.as if id ever use them again.shame on you but take note i am taking the matter further to get my full money back and to get that dump closed down.

Unfit for human habitation. Only waited 20minutes then left. Absolutely filthy and smell of dampness throughout hotel . Bed unchanged and faeces in toilet. No towels, toilet paper, toiletries. Window didn't close and was held together with tape. Room door didn't close properly. Wallpaper torn and patches of bare plaster with dampness and mould on wall. Windowsill covered in dead insects. Previous occupants tissues in bed. TV balanced on top of wardrobe unsecured. Absolutely disgusting. Worst hotel we have ever seen.

Very very unhygienic. Management very unhelpful. We could not stay at this property because of the state the room and bathroom was in, I’ve never seen a place as dirty. Complained to the man who was in charge who said we could have a full refund, however this was not the case and we did not receive any kind of refund.

Do not recommend this property to anyone, it was absolutely disgusting. The room and bathroom was the most dirtiest room I have ever seen.

The staff didn't make it feel welcoming I forgot items that we didn't receive back the bedding and curtains were stain with blood and the full place needs an air freshener as well as bringing into this centre with no WiFi and everything looked like it had been bought flea market

The carpets need a good shampoo clean, and decor needs attention. But as I said before, businesses like theirs need guests to make improvements

The owner works hard and you can tell they care for their staff. The trouble I think they have is that some of the rooms require a bit of TLC, bit they need the guests to stay, to be able to reinvest. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and offered to cook food for the family. They were helpful in showing us to our rooms, and we just wish we'd had chance to meet Dora the dog. We are a big family and the hotel did well to accommodate us all, the owner seemed kind and didn't get angry when someone set the alarm off at 5am. The hotel itself has great potential, and you can see they are doing there best, competition is rife. The building is too nice to see fall the same way as some of the other hotels.

Stood outside in the cold and rain for 40 mins before anyone answered. Room very dated, cardboard on window, heater broke, bathroom was unclean, bed placed in stupid position not enough room to get passed and light in bathroom the string had broke so couldn't turn light on

Unfortunately was very disappointed for me and my family. We arrived to hotel where we were taken to the room. Once we were in the room drop the bags and see a dirty room. Used milk pods in the coffee basket,stickers from primark clothing on pillows,hairs inside of the bed,dirty duvet(fresh stain look like vomit or so),poop on the toilet,hanger under the bed,gummy bag under bed. After all spoke with manager where I was told that I would get a refund.Didn’t happen to far!

Could feel the springs in the mattress. The windows was no good and let the wind come threw. There was no heating on in December it was cold. They provided me with two heaters one that's ment to have legs on. So every time it got warm it would turn off. And one that made lots of noise I felt it was un safe. The bathroom was not clean and needed updating. It was to cold to even think about taking a shower. One of the curtains was nailed up and bunk beds was in front so couldn't even open curtain..I messaged to say it was cold they told me it was 14° I had two kids in the room and my disabled mum..we went down stairs in to the lounge the windows was open and there was chicken just sat in the window. We was to ask the guy in the hotel to turn the heating on. All the lights was off and we couldn't find the hotel as not very well signed. We ended up leaving. I was scared that my kids would got hurt as the wardrobe was so unsafe . Trying to get our money back as I have proof of all this. I would not recommend

I liked everything

The staff were really friendly, dora the dog is really cute and got on really well with my dog. Very close to the main stripe and close by parking. Room clean and everything worked.
