Double bed was actually 2 singles pushed together and with old mattresses where you feel the springs so not brilliant for sleep

The toilet moved if you sat on it 😄 It took me two days to manage to open the window, it can be stuffy

Buffet style breakfast was nice but maybe sightly bigger pick-up space would be easier.

Staff are very friendly and they have great hospitality. Location is superb so I understand the price...Really convenient! Breakfast was nice. If you have a big or heavy suitcase, be prepared for stairs! Also, the bathroom floor can be extremely slippy when using shower so be careful! (at least the room I stayed)

Really nice, friendly and helpfull staff. Good standard and a nice room. We stayed on the grund floor which had its own little patio. Close to haymarket station and easy to access by tram or bus from the airport. Close to lovely Dean Village.

The place had old charm but with that comes noise. Lots of door slamming from the other guests.

The reception staff was amazing. So accomodating but not in a weird, stuffy way. Genuine people. Also the facilities were just really beautiful and well taken care of.

The stairs were tricky as our room was on the top floor in the building next door (hotel is made of 6 separate buildings) Walls are thin, it was fairly noisy when other guests came in late at night.

Fabulous location, easy access to the centre via tram/bus which are literally round the corner. Staff very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was good, a lot of choice.

Second time staying here and staff are always welcoming and helpful. Standard is high with rooms being comfortable, clean and well laid out. Breakfast is lovely - tasty and big. Would recommend even though the hotel is not near the centre but very close to Haymarket station.

Its not a complaint, but a fridge in the room would have been helpful. Nevertheless, a great stay! Totally recommended

As soon as you walk in, the team are super welcoming and helpful! Location is fanatstic - just 10-15 min walk to the city centre, and just minutes from Haymarket Station. Beds were comfy, rooms clean and tastefully decorated. Great little bar with local drinks too.

The cleaning staff were messy and loud. They left behind cleaning products in the room and on the stairs. Also on the morning of the check-out, way before the due time and without having returned my key to reception, I walked downstairs to put my bags in the car and by the time I had walked back up I found the cleaning lady in my room, undoing the bed and airing the room ... but I still had to collect my jacket and use the toilet before leaving, so make sure you use the "do not disturb" sign or ask for one if it is not provided to avoid surprises!

The location is very convenient, 2 minutes on foot from train/bus/tram/airport link stops, you can park in the street and in 10/15 minutes you are in the heart of the city. The hotel is clean and quiet though the building is old and there can be a bit of noise from the plumbing. The reception and bar staff were nice and helpful, the room was cosy and warm.

It doesn't make me fell secure as the same key is used to open the main door and my room. That means all guests in the same building has the same key to open all rooms. It will be great if the hotel has separated keys provided to open the main door and the room, and insert locks in the room so that people from the outside cannot open the room at night.

The bed is conformtable, and the view is beautiful and convenient. Thank you for hosting!

The worse part was the shower. No water pressure at all from the shower. I have long hair and it was really annoying. Also, for the price I would have expected some conditioner.

Perfect location with many options in the public transport. Close to airport and city center (30min walking, 15min tram). Big room with free options of coffee and tea (amd cookies) available on the room. It was also great having a mini fridge in the room. Beds were big and it was great to have an extra bed for my 2 years old son. Some hotels just assume/expect he would just sleep with us. There were many restaurants closed by which was also really handy. Scottish breakfast was delicious although I was missing more options in the buffet and lactose free milk could have also been an advantage. As an overall, I loved our stay there. Nice hotel, nice people and great time.
