The garden needs good tidy, pallets, logs and stuff left about. Garden slops, making it uncomfortable to sit outside. Property is at the end of a narrow street with on-road parking - very tight. The only view was the top of the mountain, fully surrounded by housing estate and garages. The front door is difficult to open from inside. House is not quite as shown in photos.

The house was fine, plenty of room for four of us. Easy, no hassle, good communication to access the property. Close to local amenities. Spacious bathroom and ensuit shower room. Close to beautiful walks and not far from table mountain.

Not enough useful items to cook (additional cooking knife, chopping board and pans would be nice). Instructions for the cooker would be nice (notes to show which button to which burner)

It’s just 2 and half bedroom Not 4 bedrooms !! Very smaller than pictures and our expectations with unusable small slopery garden!! But clean and facilitated.

A bit of a weird design for one of the double rooms, it is an attic room (with a double bed) and the ladder to climb up is located at the bathroom upstairs. With one of the bathrooms (the one with the bath), it can be inconvenient and very difficult to be used when the attic room ladder is pulled down. And others can only use the shower in the other bathroom (which is an ensuite in the other king sized double room). Wifi signal is quite weak in the ensuite room upstairs. Generally is quite clean but there were some biscuit crumbs on the floor in the room, and some parts can be a bit dusty. Not enough sockets for charging in some of the rooms

The host is responsive to messages, easy self check-in and check-out. Parking on the road is easy, plenty of restaurants 5-10mins drive away. Feels like staying at someone's house, has their own characters at the house. Have everything you need for a stay as a family or a group. Plenty of communal space, separate dining and sitting room, also a sunroom. Two bathrooms upstairs, one with shower and one with a bath, water is nice and hot even when two people use it at the same time.

The metrice of both beds was not comfortable you can feel the wires, the rest was fine .

the downside of the 4th bedroom is that it actually is only accessible via a bathroom and then while the ladder is down you can not open properly the door to the bath room. you still fit through the remaining space but if you are suffer from severe obesity then you would have no chance. the hatch though could be closed from the person staying in the 4th bedroom to give the person in the bathroom more privacy

very lovely property, very nicely decorated in homely shabby vintage style. Beds very comfortable. Lots of really nice artwork on the wall and a beautiful fireplace. Kitchen was also great but a few more deep plates for soup or goulash would have been suitable if you live there with more than 5 people. Location was great with being close to the Brecon Beacon. 2 corner shops in walking distance and then a large Lidl 5 min away with the car. very nice walk to a little forest and lake possible from the house. the house was extended and it was actually quite funny as we initially did not find the 4th bedroom which turned out to be a converted loft with a huge window. It was ideal for my daughter who loves her little cave and the stairs/ladder to the lofts were broad and comfortable. But this bedroom is not suitable for either smaller children or adults with mobility issues. also a very big advantage was that Rosena was always available when needed. We did not really need her but we had some questions and she answered usually within 1 hour a text or email which is really fast.

There are a lot of doors from the back and side of the house although it is all locked but somehow maybe it’s just us that we were thinking anybody can access it.No streetlights during the night.

Our only quibble was that the fourth bedroom is in the loft up a ladder. There was alternative sleeping space in the downstairs sleeping area though so this was not a problem.

No dishwasher. Although it wasn't a problem for us, some people may dislike that the 4th (double) bedroom is an attic room with access via a steep loft ladder.

As previous guests have commented; a quirky house. A very "busy" interior which my children thought was wonderful. Plenty of space. Easy street parking.

The light above the kitchen table is a real hazard with everyone repeatedly banging their heads on it. Some of the crockery is chipped and could do with replacing. There is also a broken spindle on the staircase which someone must have used to help them climb the slightly steep stairs. The ladder to the loft room is only for the young and nimble and if used means the bathroom door cannot be shut. Also no gas for the BBQ

The house is very quirky with amazing decor and very comfortable.

The washing up bowl needs replacing. It had been used to clean the bbq and was covered in black bbq grime. It was not nice to see first thing. Couldn't use the microwaves as both were dirty inside. I tried to hoover, but the most horrible dog smells filled the air. The fridge wasn't all the great either. Once these are addressed, this property will definitely be 10/10 and our favourite home away from home.

This place is a home away from home. Very comfortable furnishings and plenty of them. Lovely and soft bedding. Great outdoor space. Conservatory and bbq were a nice surprise. Both were amazing. The 4th bedroom was in the attic with access through the bathroom. That was a bit weird at first. We put my husband's son and his girlfriend up there and they just used that bathroom. There's an ensuite, so the rest of us used that. 90% of the property was super clean. A few things need addressing in the kitchen. It truly is a lovely, unique property and would definitely go back.

The steps to garden were a bit unstable for an older person, the fridge was very dated and there was date expired food in the cupboards.

The property was homely and had everything we needed. The beds and linen, bathrooms were all good and very clean. The garden and conservatory were lovely for family time.
