Only reason I haven’t it 10 (and this is being fussy) is that there were a few cobwebs on the ceiling of the rear double bedroom, being tall this was easily noticeable.

Return visit to the lodge, located in a peaceful, natural, quiet environment, some cleaning products and condiments available for use, board games and DVDs for children to use, comfortable beds, well maintained park and lodge, powerful shower cubicle in bathroom.

As a smoker , I would’ve enjoyed a covered outside area but still it didn’t matter

The owner made sure to fit everything you need from social board games to salt, coffee and bbq tools. Cozy accommodation, quiet, clean and in a beautiful area.

The lodge could definitely benefit from having wifi like the others. Although I researched the phone networks before I left, I was still unable to receive strong enough signal for one message. So that was disappointing.

The location was perfect! Property very clean and had little touches to make the stay easier and more enjoyable. Could hear a pin drop it’s that quiet!! Loved all the wildlife wandering around the lodge.

Beautifully set out and furnished lodge. All finished to a high standard and prepared for us beautifully. Nice touch of having tea coffee and biscuits there, with fresh milk in the fridge.

while we stayed 5 nights and only used Televisión , it say in the information pack the there was a DVD control we were unable find it ( if we needed to use it )

very clean and homely, it was more than we expected , easy access to Royal Welsh Showground and other local restaurants ,not ever used a self catering lodge before it was an experience we enjoyed and will use again

Excellent stay again in Builth Wells. Shame we couldn't boat in the river this year due to the string currents. But the little ones learnt how to skip stones across the river!

The lodge was presented in a nice manner but was disappointed to find lots of cobwebs around the lodge even in the bedrooms. My husband removed lots but still found quite a few even above our beds. This didn't look nice and was off putting especially as there is a £30 charge for cleaning. This obviously hadn't been done. Had a lovely time and would go again but this needs be looked at as this is advertised as a luxury lodge and you certainly would not expect to find that.

Location was spot on. Very quiet and loved the wild life bunnies running around. Very relaxing place. The town was very close and had some good cafes.

When driving through the site other lodge owners shouted at us to slow down, it literally wasn’t possible to drive any slower, they were just making a point!

The property was well equipped warm. Cosy and well decorated. Beds were comfy and linen and towels were lovely. Family orientated and perfect for a weekend away. Welcome pack was a lovely surprise.

It was great that you could enter using a key code system, that way you could just get on with your holiday straight away without having to wait for anyone.
