Very steep steps to the bedroom which we both struggled with.There is no toilet upstairs as the bathroom is downstairs,so that was very inconvenient during the night.It was my own fault,as it did state it in the property details,somehow i mis-read it and thought there was another toilet.There were barking dogs from the properties next door,which woke us up very early..This cottage is very dog friendly but we don t have a dog(we do love them though)but i think you need to be mindful,as on the first night we was going for a meal and as we got to the restaurant,i noticed the back of my partners jumper was covered in dog hairs and he was a little un happy about it,as the only place he sat was in the lounge,whilst he waited for me.

Quaint,cosy cottsge in a truly fantastic location and we did enjoy our stay there.There was a lovely cake on our arrival too!very much appreciated.

A lovely, cosy, characterful cottage in a perfect, central location for Haworth Main Street, yet very quiet.Free, very nearby parking is a bonus, as is the lovely terraced garden, which would be ideal in the Summer. The owners were extremely helpful in their communication and a large, homemade cake was awaiting our arrival. We would love to return.

Strong odour of dog on arrival and long white dog hairs on cushions and throws. Messaged cottage owners who arranged for new throw and cushion covers to be dropped off. Rest of property clean, no issues.

Great location, situated just off the main street of Haworth. Free parking on a public car park close by. Good facilities. Lovely hosts very responsive to messages. The most comfortable beds ever! A delicious home made cake to welcome us 😃. Would stay again.

The wifi info was unreadable. The code numbers have worn away so unable to connect. This didnt bother us but may be an issue for some. The garden area looked a little tired and the decking could do with a clean up and repaint. That being said we completely understand the late summer weather caught us all off gaurd a little 27°c plus. I think we all thought the summer was over. I have not reduced our grading for this reason.

This was an amazing little cottage with everything we needed.The kitchen was well equipt which made food prep simple. The bed was really comfortable and everything was very clean. The cottage is in the heart of the main street with all its eateries and lovely independant shops. And is also close to beautifull hill walks. The communication from the owner was great.We even found a fresh home made sponge cake when we arrived. We would definatly return and would reccomend.

Liked all of it, though would have been better if a few teabags sugar milk left though there was coffee, cooking oil and can’t really complain as our host made as an amazing home baked Victoria sponge cake. Thankyou so much. Pans ect were good but small frying pain was very scratched surface and only other minor issue slight damp smell in bathroom but this is a very old cottage and aroma humidifiers in the bathroom which helped

Highly recommend- A Beautiful character period cottage right in town centre everything on your doorstep, very clean, lovely comfy beds pillows, well equipped kitchen, beautiful garden, dog friendly, easy to contact host and the host left an amazing home baked cake.

I didn't have breakfast in the cottage..but the home made cake left for me was delicious. The location is perfect..right in the village yet still so quiet...fabulous. Everything is right literally on the doorstep from amazing independent little shops to the moors five mins away...and lots of Bronte history to look at too...its a fabulous little cottage to stay at. The dogs loved the tiered garden to run around in and its 100% secure

I think purely due to the type of cottage & it’s location & the fact that our stay was at the beginning of the season the sink /drains had an unpleasant smell.

Literally the ONLY thing that wasn't great was the bathroom and this really isn't their fault. The way the cottage is built sees the front of the property partly underground and there is an issue with damp in the bathroom as you enter from the road. The smell was really quite overwhelming and the extraction isnt great. We did all we could to keep it warm and ventilated but condensation soon built up and mould quickly followed. Its a shame because everything else was perfect.. It may not be a problem in warmer weather!?

The location is PERFECT! Value for money. Nice decor. Dog friendly. Cake on arrival.

We liked everything about Hedgehog Cottage. Such a stunning property with a great garden for the dogs. Perfect location and we we’re lucky enough to get snow during our stay which made Howarth look even more beautiful. Lovely added extras such as a fresh baked sponge cake and a toy for the dogs were left for us on arrival which was very kind! We really can’t fault this property and will certainly be returning!

Only negative was the proximity of bedroom facing the pub opposite kitchen extractor fan meant that the room was really unusable with the window open due to smell of restaurant cooking as it stank the room out
