Great little room, quite small but enough for one or a couple on a getaway. It had a tele and kettle and the cockpit was seperate for kids to play in. The kitchen and bathroom were in a sepalerate block and well appointed. This is glamping so take your own towels and tea/milk etc and toiletries. Brilliant stay, everyone else there wanted to see in the helicopter, all their kids loved it.

The site was lovely and clean and really peaceful. The helipod was unique and we had everything we needed for a lovely 2 night stay. We will hopefully return again. I booked this trip as a surprise birthday present for my 39 year old child (partner) who is mad for anything ww2 or anything which has wings and an engine. He was like a kid at Christmas as I pulled into the gates and he realised that we were actually going to be sleeping in a helicopter!

I've got a terrible back so was difficult getting in and out of the copter and the bed was a challenge I didn't sleep well as the beds hard This is not the venues fault but just something to be aware of if your have mobility issues

Took my 10 year old lad for his birthday. For him it was absolutely perfect! He got to sleep in a helicopter. Theres a games room and a basic kitchen, which was all that we needed.

You had to cross a small area to the toilet but we knew this before booking and as the weather was decent it was not a problem.

Never like having to walk from the unit to a separate (private) kitchen/bathroom block - but obviously that's an inevitable situation with the accommodation being a helicopter!! So no complaints (obviously).

Great experience. Unique facility in a marvellous "retro military" setting. Wonderful friendly hosts and priced to be accessible to all. We really enjoyed staying on a decommissioned military helicopter, and the reactions we got on social media show just what a great idea it is!

I'm super sensitive sleeper and found the futon a little uncomfortable but not enough to ruin my stay. Take extra layers to pad it out a bit and keep warm. Shower room cold in winter! Again didn't really detract as I expected it would be just be prepared.

Had a wonderful time here. Different and fun and owners very helpful. Free WiFi, netflix, wood to buy for fire, quirky and Cool. Just really loved the whole experience.

Due to weather was very shakey and rocking alot. Extermley noisey. You have to take extra bedding for comfort and the coldness. Didnt feel veey clean. Especislly the windows could of done with a good clean over. But the experience was good.

Difficult to raise the futon so very cramped.

Amazing conversion of the Lynx. My husband loved living out his boyhood dreams and beamed the entire time. Having our own kitchen and bathroom space really made a difference. Underfloor heating meant it was really cosy- even during storm Babet.

the bed was slightly uncomfortable and the shower and kitchen room was cold but nothing you wouldn’t expect none of this ruined our trip at all as was informed about this before our trip via email so came prepared!

The host was lovely and very helpful, the Helipod was equipped with everything you could need… A unusual and unordinary place to which made the whole experience even better! Brilliant place to stay if you’re wanting to do something different! would definitely recommend and go again!
