Our room was in a separate building further down the road. In the morning we had to walk back down the street to the main hotel to get breakfast. Front desk Staff were abrupt and not terribly helpful

Bed was absolutely tiny, and we are not big people. Shower leaked water everywhere. Hotel was quite run down/needed some attention.

The room was certainly 'cosy'. We were unable to walk down the sides of the bed and were told at Reception that we should have booked a Superior room! It would have been good to have tomato ketchup & brown sauce available at the breakfast table alongside the butter & jam, which were there The front door leading to the Traditional wing needs a lick of paint. A big chunk of paint came off when we were there

Chewing gum wrapper under bed, mould on tiles. Bath taps leaked out of the side. Bathroom in general was tired and in need of refurbishment. Position of TV was odd.

Booked at short notice, so got one of the 3 small rooms in the attic. It was ok for one night, but the room was really only designed for one person. The position of the fridge tea/ coffee cabinet meant you couldn’t walk around the bed to get in - had to climb over. Also bizarrely only one bed side table. No wardrobe only hangers against the wall. The walls are really thin, could hear every word of the conversation next door and their TV until 1am.

Interior of the hotel is beautiful and it is set in a classic Bath terrace. Breakfast was really tasty. The lights in the room were really well thought out. Very well positioned only about 10 mins walk from the station.The gardens at the end of the road are very quiet green space.

I arrived in Bath before check in time after nearly 10 hours of traveling and badly needed to take a shower and brush my teeth. Although my room wasn't ready when I arrived the staff went above and beyond to find a room that was available for me to take a quick nap and recover from my long day if travel. I greatly appreciated it. The location is fantastic and the staff were all very friendly. I would stay here again.

It's a general complaint that the hotel can't do anything about - getting my suitcase and bags up to the third floor was a bit cumbersome. They had a lift to the second floor, but I had to lug everything up the stairs to the third floor. I'm not going to fault them for that, as they did retrofit the property to include a lift to get guests partway there. For those who have issues lifting heavy baggage, I'd simply ask for a room on the first or second floor.

It was in a great location, steps from Pulteney Bridge - not far from shops, restaurants and attractions. The hotel was really beautifully decorated - you don't often see "modern" hotels outside of London, so this was a nice find. The staff were incredibly accommodating. My room had everything to make me feel comfortable, and the bed was so comfortable.

Staff were amazing, room on the small side but served its purpose. Location brilliant. Was no parking available at property when we arrived however staff very helpful & gave us several local options, we parked 5 minutes walk away, it was £15 for 24hrs
