Room heater was having constant sound at night, so probably some repairs works to be done for the same. There was no iron provided in the room. No coffee spoon provided in the room.

Excellent staff , especially at the kitchen, excellent vegan breakfast provided, kitchen staffs were fabulous showing awesome hospitality- wow!! Hotel location was also great. Room was comfortable

It’s obvious the Hotel has new owners and I think the standards have dropped slightly. The rooms we’ve had on our last few visits haven’t been as clean as previously. Although not bad, the breakfast hasn’t been as nice as before and the parking has crept up to £18 for overnight. It used to be really good value for money but not anymore.

Stayed there quite a few times over the years due to its location and parking facilities. Staff are polite with no issues at all with them.

The continental breakfast was basic. Bread, tea, coffee and juices, yoghurt, jams, cereal, store bought crossiants and pastries. No cold cuts/cheese etc which would have been nice. The main concern was the first room, room 106. The bedroom had black mould. We had to stay there for one night and then they changed our room the next day. Obviously this is disgusting and dangerous. Luggage room is just a room which is accessible, it is not locked.

The staff is nice and accommodating, we had to leave early and their breakfast starts at 7:30am so they served us a continental breakfast earlier. They also solved the room issue right away. I also left my charger plugged in and realised a few minutes after checking out, they found it and kept it in a safe place for me. Cooked breakfast is good, especially the eggs benedict. Location is good, a 20 minute walk away from the centre but well connected via bus. Haymarket station is also close by (10 minute walk).

Bathroom toilet seat broken, no bath plug, heating towel rack not working. Pillows need to be upgraded , carpets are old and worn.

Breakfast was excellent, the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful.

It wasn't clean, we stayed 3 nights and the coffee/tea wasn't replaced. Although you can walk to the centre, it is quite a walk and up and down hill. It isn't pleasant in the rain (this isn't the hotels fault). We had trouble finding the car park and when we did, we couldn't get into it and we had to park up at the side of the road to get instructions from inside. I think these need to be emailed before you get there. The staff left us a note with a blood stain on it. I gave it to reception, and I didn't even receive an apology. The TV didn't have signal so you couldn't watch TV. Thankfully the TV had netflix so I logged into my own account and it worked fine. We had breakfast one morning and got eggs benedict but my eggs were hard boiled.

The bed was comfy. The room had everything we needed. I liked how we could park underground as parking in Edinburgh is very expensive.

I think the room was smaller than expected and the bathroom not only had visible mould but it also smelt of mould. The bed looked as though it was going to be an uncomfortable sleep for 3 nights but it was actually fine, i don't tend to move much in my sleep but others reported that their beds had big dip in the middle. The location was great which is probably what we paid for. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. It balanced itself out so couldn't really complaine.

Was freezing at night I had to get extra sheets ,shower was freezing cold ,I had to bed my bedding chamged was blood all over my sheets ,no bar no entainment ,now worth 75 pound night not victoria and gofic them like listed .

The only gripe was more about other customers rather than staff tbh , it seamed to be unorganised when it came to sitting down for breakfast, everyone got asked what time they were coming down so tables would be available but always seamed to have to sit in another room due to people just coming down at any time rather than when they said they were.

The location was ideal for everything we wanted to do , staff were polite and very helpful, rooms were very comfortable and ideal

I ask for a bigger room and my one small, also the bed was broken and one of the blankets was broken, the room and toilet ceiling was broken, it’s looks like the hotel needs some maintenance in few areas. When I asked for my full Scottish breakfast they only gave me an egg, it is that ok?

The walls were paper thin and you could hear everything from outside the door and every time the front door banged shut. The mattress was too big for the bed so the end tilted up as it sat on the end of the bed frame.

It was a decent location. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good

Breakfast disappointing. Chose the full Scottish. It stated this included a tattie scone, which was absent. Only the egg and the sausage were hot enough. The bacon was borderline between tepid and cold.
