Needs more direction on how to use TV's as the one remote was for both TV's and wouldn't work sometimes

Trying to get the TV to work. Very complicated. Missed paid for breakfast on site said it was from 6am. When I booked in the 1st breakfast I could have was 7.15. No good for me as I had to leave for work early.

The room felt quite dated, particularly the bathroom which we struggled to keep dry post showering. We had a family room with 2 beds and the single bed was quite uncomfortable.

Breakfast was good, staff nice, self served, well timed, not pressured Dinner was really really good, good fun server and nice wine.

If there was anything not to be happy about - no fresh fruit at the breakfast bar.

Friendly staff, good facilities and location good for various good days out. Very accommodating when we asked why the menu sheet was not on the table one of the days, as my husband had decided to have smoked salmon on our last day.

There was a comment card in the room from the previous guest, which made me question what else was missed. The WiFi was very ‘iffy’ but they did say it was going to be upgraded.

The food let's this hotel down its a really lovley hotel I love it but we will go to local pub for food now we keep giving it a go but not anymore my chicken was inedible so not wanting to appear rude my partner ate it he was ill for 2 days after that there is so much wrong with the restaurant, which is a shame as it could be a goldmine

Location is lovley hotel is lovley we never have breakfast at hotel as tried it 3 times and was denided fried egg which is all we have with toast so £10 for tea and toast quite expensive.

Few things that need doing we think would be a good clean on the ground floor in the hallway leading to the rooms, as very unpleasant smell. I do believe the hotel is undergoing a refurbishment though. Upper floor didn't have the smell thankfully where some of our family and friends were staying. The rooms themselves thankfully didn't have that smell. The honeymoon suite is amazing as long as you don't look at the nets and window, definitely think windows need replacing before the damp penetrates anymore.

My now husband and I had our wedding here. Had beautiful day surrounded by family and friends. The venue on the day was dressed beautifully. The staff were all very helpful and made us all feel welcome. Big Thanks to Sasha our wedding coordinator 👍

Stains on the mattress and the pillows weren’t very comfy walls very thin could hear everything.

My favourite part about the room was the king chair in corner of room my Pauline loved sitting on there all weekend she was very comfortable and pleased with how comfy..

Very uncomfortable, lumpy pillows. Mouldy shower. Dirty, dusty bathroom. Toilet hadn't been cleaned. Very expensive for what you get.

Very disappointed that you had to go into the bar area to use the wifi, as soon as you went through the fire doors the internet cut off. For that reason alone, I would have to find somewhere else next time

Room didn't have free WiFi (was in a deadspot- however it's getting upgraded next week). Old single bed - could do with a new mattress or whole bed. Noisy due to the location near the internal fire door close to reception (prob needs adjustment of the self closing mechanism).

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Location of hotel is very good. Food was good. Loads of parking. This is my second time hear. I would stay again.

Smelt damp on lower rooms floor. Our room mould on bottom of shower curtain and also mould on the bottom of the net curtain. step ladders in areas on 2nd floor no safety or warning notices, also cigarette smoke smell on 2nd floor. Reception staff need more training as was a kids party next day and no organisation skills and kids and parents didn't want to move. Staff left several people waiting on reception who wanted to book out whilst attending to kids etc. Need more staff as hotel guests need priority.

Really nice bar and restaurant area. Breakfast was extremely nice.
