The TV in my room did not work. Pixelated and slow -impossible to watch anything.

The room was lovely and spacious with a desk for working. The staff were really friendly and great at their jobs.

The difference in when I stayed in October was too much

The executive suite was lovely although we stayed here in October and the difference was quite significant, October was fabulous, we had water in the room and it was so clean, this time lights were broken, no water and cleaning wasn’t as good

Little draughty in the corridors, bar was very expensive for what was on offer - 5.50 for a pint of Creamflow which was 3.50 in the local pub and 1.90 n Wearherspoons

Our booking included a full breakfast each morning but on arrival was told no breakfast Christmas morning. Had to push for one as two in family are diabetic. (Eventually we were supplied with continental breakfast in lounge.) No biscuits in room. Cushions stained in lounge. No pillow protectors. Also loose toilet seat.

Extra large comfy bed, and room with floorboards (more hygieneic than carpet). Coffee machine. Easy to use large tv. Powerful shower. Clean towels daily. Lovely full breakfast for the rest of our stay. Also very good Christmas decorations. Large private carpark.

Our first room, the door didn't lock but we were moved to a different room immediately. Only negative is the damp smell in the lobby area between reception and the stairs.

Very helpful staff. We were very delayed due to an accident on the motorway so we called the restaurant up to see what time they stopped serving food. The kitchen were prepared to leave the kitchen open a bit longer for us in case weren't able to make it or alternatively we were informed they would have made us some sandwiches. Great customer service.

On arrival , we were met by the most miserable receptionist , who gave us 1 word answers , did not explain where the facilities were located . On a first impression basis , they let the hotel down Doesn’t have a lift

Bit tricky to find, but all in all for a hotel nothing really jumped out that was displeasing.

The food at the restaurant was really nice eating there a couple of nights, bed was comfy and wifi connection was relatively stable.
