No real major complaints . If I had to comment on anything I suppose the parking was a bit tight but nothing of any consequence.

Lovely apartment right in the centre of Hexham but quiet as little traffic and 2 floors up. Extremely comfortable and well furnished. Walking distance to everything we needed; restaurants, pubs and even an independent cinema. Excellent location for visiting and walking Hadrian's Wall. We used public transport which took us everywhere we wanted to go.

The stairs were a bit much but my wife was due a hip replacement the day after our stay. We should have asked more about the outlay of the apartment.

Very helpful conversation with Susan on phone helping us to find the apartment. A very warm and gracious host. The apartment was done up so tastefully. It was very comfortable and quiet despite being in the heart of Hexham. Couldn't have asked for more. Thoroughly recommended

on 3rd floor of building up a lot of stairs, but i knew this when i booked it.

lovely property in central Hexham, overlooking the historic market place, comfy spacious apartment with comfy and fresh bedding, well equipped kitchen, and a lovely host who kept in touch ensuring I had all info and everything I needed. Parking was free in the market place and never had any issues finding a space.

Entry staircase quite steep and compact and might be an issue if mobility is an issue. We managed fine though.

The confusion with other guests using the same street access to other units downstairs. The laundry( if needed) is not located inside apartment but in same building and used by owner for guest bedding etc.

The property description on Booking.com lists a sofa bed within its amenities but this is incorrect, which we didn't discover until we arrived. Luckily, the sofa was actually long enough for one person to sleep on and there were enough fleece blankets/sheets/pillows to make-do. I have fed this back to the host to perhaps amend the listing but it might be worth noting for other guests relying on the description only (without pre-checking with the host). We managed to work around it and it didn't spoil our stay.

The host was very efficient in communicating details for check in and responded quickly to messages sent via the Booking.com app. The apartment was very clean and tidy, and couldn't have been in a better location for the event we were attending at Hexham Abbey. As pre-advised by the host, the parking spaces directly outside the apartment were unfortunately in use when we arrived but we managed to easily find alternative parking in the marketplace after 5pm, when the shops closed. I would recommend the apartment to anyone looking to stay in central Hexham.

Couldn't find the duvet and pillows for the sofa bed and we weren't sure if the sofa in the living room was a sofa bed or not. Maybe if two people book owner assumes you will sleep in the double and perhaps you have to ask to use the sofa bed? We would have asked the owner but it was too late by the time we tried to set up the sofa bed. Bath fills very very slowly.

Loved the decor and comfort. Really lovely bedroom and bathroom. Nice bed linen. Liked the hooks on the back of doors. Shower great. Very clean. Parking was great, right outside the entrance door.
