Quite a few of the facilities are looking run down or are broken, especially in the leisure area. The balls in football golf were flat and extremely worn. 2 out of the 3 showers in the swimming pool were broken and quite a few of the lockers were broken too. It's a venue as well so there was lots of noise late in the evening from shouty drunk people.

The location is stunning. The staff were friendly and it's a nice place to relax.

2.30am wake up from yobs in the corridor following Englands win over Germany, behaviour should be monitored if they are serving drinks to that hour.

Room 2070 was ok but not a very nice outlook bed very comfortable and well appointed, good breakfast with excellent dinner.

Receptacle on table for ‘ rubbish’ eg butter/ jam wrappings Furnishings in dining room and some other areas rather scruffy and decor tired. Twin bedroom very short of space for two people.

The food not four star quality, more like 3 star! The staff in the restaurant gave no personal service and we had to wait an hour between our starter and main course. The breakfast was edible but presentation was very basic!

The location was perfect, the grounds were beautiful and the staff at reception were very helpful and accommodating.

Limited menu options in the bar no bread no pizzas etc the a la carte was not A la Carte the outside needs a tidy up dated etc

The nature walks are not suitable for buggies and are very overgrown with stinging nettles - we gave up half way around and cut across the golf course to get back!

Building looking a little tired. Not all staff wearing masks correctly. 1 x cleaning staff only put mask on when we walked past. The rather loud 2 tables on the Friday evening in the restaurant who were shouting conversation between them with inappropriate language for a restaurant.

Grounds were beautiful Staff very friendly. Great to see restaurant staff cleaning tables well between customers...please remember to wipe chairs over though.

Couldn’t get WiFi in our room. It was only possible near reception and the bar. Could have done with a bedside table. Clearly aimed at golfers so the Spa area could do with some attention and addition. No jacuzzi

Bath had what looked like blood drops in but turned out to be chemical stains, still not great. Leaking shower glass divider.

The exterior cladding of buildings looked concrete like, as if minimally needed repainting. Many rooms faced inward on to a concrete cladded yards.The manor on the middle was mainly unused but could have been the centrepiece.The mattress was very comfortable but different size to the bedframe. The curtain and netting seemed old. The bathroom floor just needed a little better clean. The furniture in breakfast room and bar were worn and needed replacing.We accidentlily entered the breakfast room from exit-just needs better signposting. One of the weekend mature de needed to be a little more freindly after we entered from the wrong side.Generally very good but all just needed refreshing and money spent.It was a special birthday visit- but not possible to book treatments for my wife.eg back rub. It should have been possible to not to need pre-book.

Breakfast catered for vegetarians/vegan very well- which is what we are. And room was good size. Drinks bar was ok as well. The bedroom was a good size and accessible for unloading from car. The grounds very beutiful and extensive.

Bit of a weird mostly modern building in the middle of the countryside but it worked very well. Room worked very well.
