The entrance to the flat is situated a short distance along a very unpleasant alley with a small area of disused land at the end behind the building, which made my fiancée very anxious about entering and exiting alone, especially at night. I am sure Broadstairs is no less safe than anywhere else, but bad things can happen anywhere but this made us uncomfortable. While the general area of the flat is right in the centre of everything, the access to it is not good. Even though I’m sure the landlord and locals might say it’s safe and nothing would happen, that Broadstairs is safe and nothing would happen, those of us who come to stay do not know that and they can’t guarantee it, so it’s no comfort when your other half feels scared and that’s not what you pay for when booking a holiday stay.

The pub on the high street was very noisy but quietened down by 11.30. TV was a bit glitchy to get programs to play but did not impact us particularly.

bed was very uncomfortable- you could feel the springs coming through. Also, be careful finding the apartment - we ended up going into an apartment opposite that looked a bit suspicious inside. But we found out apartment and we were happy with the outcome :-) Expensive

great location, right on the high street near the beach. We were able to early check in which was very convenient as we had a wedding to attend nearby! The apartment is very clean, tidy and well kept!

the ground floor external door needs repairing, as it is extremely hard to close from outside.

overall a great flat at the perfect location for Boradstairs. The access both downstairs as well as upstairs is via code, which is great, as you don't need to worry about carrying keys or leaving the keys somewhere at checkout. The flat was clean, very nicely decorated, big and comfortable.

Everything we didn't like is pretty small and practically petty. The only constructive criticisms I could even think to offer are for a few more kitchen utensils/crockery (plates, jugs, larger glasses etc) in case you'd like to make a bigger meal in the lovely kitchen. That and the apartment would really shine with a bigger TV.

The location was incredible, a ridiculously short walk from the beach and surrounded by a high street full of places to stock up at, visit for a quick bite (the beach side restaurant that was recommended gets a thumbs up from us!) Or just take a stroll. The apartments spotlessly clean and the host was incredibly punctual and provided everything we needed upfront and accommodated for anything we found ourselves needing. Perfect for a couple's weekend beach getaway.

The bed: the mattress was uncomfortable. Window in bedroom is not double-glazed so Saturday night was quite noisy.

Great flat, perfect for our long weekend break. Close to the station and the beach. It had everything we needed. Description mentions no Internet but WiFi was just fine. Highly recommended! Very clean too.

Had to move dates as firstly hospitalised, then pinged by the test and trace. Maria was extremely accommodating and understanding, for which I was extremely grateful. Apartment was spotless with everything one could wish for. Give it a try, and whilst there a visit to Posilippo’s Italian Trattoria inAlbion Street USA must.

Shower cubicle is small. Light needed over main front door so you can see key code at night and for security Mattress was harder than we are used to but it's hard to please everyone.

The light shone straight through the blind in the bedroom really early and the mattress was a little hard for my liking.

The apartment was absolutely beautiful so much room to move and had everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely go back.
