Member of staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay at the hotel. The room was clean, had everything we needed and was the perfect location for a night in the town. 5 minute walk if that into the town centre.

Fantastic friendly staff. Spotlessly clean room and bathroom. A nice surprise that a continental breakfast was also included in the price. Free parking on site and a few minues walk to the town centre.

Coming out of the shower you have to decend 2 quite high steps. A hand rail is definately needed as it would be very easy for an elderly person to fall.

We stay at Hill Lodge when we visit a friend in Sudbury. This time we had room number 4 which was quite comfortable. Tea/Coffee facilties were available although only 3 teabags were left with just 3 sugars....probably an oversite. good shower and toilet facilities. We didn't have the breaksft as we wanted a full English and that wasn't available so we had it earlier. Parking is good althoug if ever it was full, I'm not sure what else wouldbe available.

I can't think of anything. It was just what we needed for our one night stay in Sudbury.

As soon as we arrived at the Reception desk, we were met by the very helpful man in Reception, who gave us clear instructions about the wi-fi, how to find our room, breakfast arrangements, and places to visit and nearby restaurants. Our room and en suite were clean, warm and well equipped, and the beds were comfy.

The breakfast was fine; enough variety, and all tidy and well presented. The staff were very obliging and helpful at all times. Although close to a main road, the hotel was quiet and orderly, and felt very safe. There was adequate parking for the number of people staying at the time. The hotel is very close to Sudbury town centre; only a few minutes walk even for the slowest walker, and very close to supermarkets, shops, and attractions.

we were woken up in the middle of the night on two nights by the television switching itself on - problem solved by switching it off at the wall (apparently it was a brand new tv that was a replacement for one that did exactly the same thing and the room has a reputation for being haunted )

We had a superior double room but the view from the windows was the top of the flat roof, which did show that attention was required to skylights and window frames, it would have been nice to look out onto a garden, or at least the the ground level.

It is only a continental breakfast, but what was on offer was good.

The shower wasn't up to much, run off a mixer tap and was hard to get temperature right with a really small shower head.

Situated close to town, with everything within walking distance. Bonus continental breakfast that I wasn't expecting. Room was nice and spacious.

The bathroom was unworkable with the shower door opening onto the sink with no way into the shower except with the bathroom door open. No way of closing bathroom door and no latch on room door.

The breakfast fruit supply could have been better, and a bit of cheese or a hardboiled egg would have been welcome, but the BnB deal was on the whole quite good value for money.

The warm welcome. The stylish, comfortable and very clean room. The reliable hot water. Friendly and helpful staff. Very convenient position for visiting the town.
