The house was perfect for our family of 6, there was plenty of space for all of us. The view at the back of the house was breathtaking. Location was excellent as well, Sunday roast at Cawdor was really good.

Residents permit only parking along the road in front of the house meant a bit of a scrabble for a parking space amongst the limited spaces available nearby. Luckily we had dry weather and didn't have much luggage to carry so not a major inconvenience.

This house is in a great location with fantastic views over the river and it's only a short stroll from the main street through town. Very warm, clean and comfortable house, well equipped kitchen. Two good bathrooms with great showers. We enjoyed visits to local castles, parks and gardens as well as the lovely independent shops and eateries. More than enough to do for a long weekend visit. The terrace and garden would be lovely to sit in if you're visiting during the warmer months.

it needs a new frying pan, the flat pan that is in the house has been damaged and is burnt on the bottom and unusable but only small point!

lovely cosy kitchen/diner and nice to be away from the TV to enjoy the fire and cook dinner, bathroom downstairs is lovely with a brilliant shower and nice big bath tub, loads of room for the kids to chill out downstairs or in the front room

The log burner and the views were both gorgeous. We didn’t have the weather to enjoy outside as much as we would have likes but, it would be lovely in the summer.

We had great stay at Hilltop with our son. We loved the kitchen living room with a view of the river Towy. The cosy seating round the wood burning stove was much appreciated after a long walk as was a soak in the roll top Bath.

It was a shame that the TV was in a different room to the log burner (which we did know in advance) but it was still nice to watch the fire whilst sitting at the dining table. Unfortunately the ash hadn't been emptied from the previous guests, so we had to clear out the fire before lighting. We struggled with the height of the microwave. Anyone under 5ft 4ins would need to stand on something to reach up safely.

The house is situated in a quiet location with amazing views from both the kitchen/diner and main bedroom. It is also very handy for the town which is a great place with lots of interesting independent shops, coffee bars etc. There are so many walks in and around Llandeilo, all with spectacular scenery. Parking was easy, right outside the door. The shower and bath were both good, with plenty of hot water. Plenty of kitchen equipment, dishes, glasses etc. Loads of space and practical hard floors on the ground floor level. Bedrooms are large and very quiet and despite it feeling like being in a basement, both have good natural light as the house is built on a hill overlooking the beautiful Towy valley. The owners were very accommodating and offered to extend our stay when we were not able to arrive on the day we planned due to illness.

The stair gate was a bit tricky to operate but we got used to it .

we liked the location, stunning views. Facilities were great, everything we needed. Bedrooms were very comfortable.
