How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

You cannot be closer to the airport than in this hotel. It's modern and kept clean. The staff at the reception or at the restaurant is very welcoming and professional. Rooms are clean and comfortable

This may have only been a one-off problem, but the smell of smoke was strong in our non-smoking corridor and seeped into our room heavily. The front desk staff said they were unable to do anything to stop the smokers. They did offer to switch our room but as it was late at night we felt that would be more disruptive than the smoke. Hopefully most guests are respectful of rules and this isn’t an ongoing issue.
The hotel is in a convenient location for early morning flights and the airport shuttle is an added bonus as the walk to the terminal would feel extra long in the cold wet winter. The beds are very comfortable and rooms are well appointed. Very nice for an airport hotel.

Quite a transient hotel with comings and goings throughout the night - but it's an airport hotel 🤷♀️ Perhaps if I hadn't been so worried about sleeping in, it might have been better!
Location for airport - excellent Restaurant food - excellent Bedroom - excellent Staff - so friendly, professional and helpful

Charging guests for onsite car parking is just another way to bump up the price. Added to this was charging guests for use of the leisure facilities. Hidden costs are completely out of order.
The usual Hilton senates which is excellent. Also right next to the airport and location was important.

My nephew who was parking at a different location but staying at the hotel dropped his bags off and incurred a parking fine for staying for circa 30 mins. Also, we were really looking forward to using the pool, but arrived at 9.05 and was told that this wasn't available then.
Rooms all together. Staff helpful, professional.

The cooked breakfast items were not as hot as they should have been - they were lukewarm - and this was on both my overnight stays on 14th Feb and 20th Feb, so was not an isolated occurrence.

Considering we were overnight guests, it was disappointing that one had to pay additional for parking.

The hotel is a few minutes walk from the airport terminal. After a long journey we enjoyed the walk in the evening after we had checked-in our bags and even more so the stroll in the morning for our 08:45 flight. The hotel is well appointed and we enjoyed a nice meal in the restaurant which was pretty good value for money.

Being charged extra to use the facilities ie: parking and pool. One of the reasons we booked there was for access to the pool.

I wouldnt say there was anything I didn't like. However, if I had to mention anything, it would be the hot breakfast. I didn't enjoy it much, as it was just luke warm and by the time you're half way through, it's very cold.
I was very pleased with the hotel on the whole, in terms of comfort and cleanliness. On arrival the receptionist was very welcoming with lots of smiles and information. She made my day by giving the the lovely warm cookie with melted chocolate. A really nice welcoming touch. I have to mention the very lovely evening restaurant staff; three sincere individuals who were superb at making me feel at ease and took pleasure in explaining the menu and their recommendations. They really made my evening on both nights. It was during the 2nd dining experience, I realised they were an actual family. A husband, wife and their son. Originally from Romaina. They were delightful!
