We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe check in and restaurant staff were lovely but bar staff a little distant and bordering on rude. I think it’s possible they knew I was an away football supporter just here for the match. I wonder if they might be a bit nicer if I had a Sunderland shirt on? Those supporters were, by my observation, treated a bit nicer!!
It was a lovely place, very comfortable and clean. Check in seamless. I liked that I could leave my car just outside due to my disability.

United KingdomWe asked for bedding which had not been provided for the bed-setter. We had to ask twice during the early evening and a third time late in the evening. I think our request had been forgotten twice. The pillows were terrible and my night’s sleep was not the best.
Great location, nice, stylish, new modern hotel, with great facilities and the room was great. The food was very good and the staff were all helpful and friendly.

Room was excellent, hotel brilliant location for us travelling to the Sunderland game, close to metro link etc. We had to leave early the next morning so we did not get any breakfast. 1 negative point was that when we were leaving there was no one on reception, totally deserted, it was around 5.45!!!
