Just that our TV didn't work properly in one of the rooms and kept flicking between channels but luckily it didn't affect our stay as we weren't in the room enough to watch TV.

We had a really lovely stay. One of the highlights was the pool, jacuzzi and steam/sauna room. Our room was clean and extremely comfortable. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Huge thank you goes to the cleaning team who when tidied our room left little touches that were very cute like folding the kids pyjamas and tucking their teddies in the bed.

I've been visiting this hotel for a very long time and the room decor and public areas feel badly in need of refreshing. A number of upgrades should be considered such as - the addition of lifts to the first floor on both sides; - modernising the bathrooms; - improve room lighting and/or make it dimmable; - addition of air conditioning (I've mentioned this many times since at least 2012 ;)); - remove the separate parking charge; - review the quality of the bacon & sausages at breakfast & re-instate the fried bread; - increase the weekend hours of the leisure centre to enable guests to make use of the facilities.

Good check-in experience with Rebecca and it was lovely to see Anna again after a number of years. We'd requested a ground floor room and were allocated to an accessible room so there was no bath, but the shower cubicle was very spacious and looked to have been newly renovated. Liked the 80's party night which seemed to go down well generally and didn't impact noise wise on the rooms. Room was a good size with usual facilities such as large screen TV, tea & coffee making facilities and bathroom amenities - the room we had also had a mains USB A & USB C charging socket & a fridge. Bed was comfortable and plenty of pillows. Staff at breakfast were good and Elaine was excellent in ensuring we had everything we needed. Checkout was trouble free.

Unfortunately, the pillows were a bit hard for our liking. We also had a stained sofa bed in the room, along with a rusty sink in our bathroom.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel. We had dinner and breakfast here. They have a variety of dining options, restaurant, bar, and room service. The swimming pool was lovely and warm, and we enjoyed the use of the jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna. The bedrooms are very spacious. Also, it was lovely to see this is a dog friendly hotel.

No bottled water in the rooms. You couldn’t leave a bedside light on without all the lights being in or off.

Drinks over-priced especially compared to the trendy wedding venue we went to a short drive away.

Not enough plug sockets in the room! No where to plug a hair dryer in near a mirror; no available socket near the desk to plug in laptop; No socket by the bed to plug in a phone overnight

The pillows are quite hard we asked for softer ones which they gave us within 15 mins. One negative for me was I asked for an early check in if possible and knew there would be a £10 charge we got there before 1pm and was charged £25 bit cheeky really

Breakfast was ok would have liked a bit more variety of hot Buffet always a bit dried up wherever I’ve stayed has been the same Gym was a bit limited on equipment And was very busy And due to work I missed the restaurant for evening meal had food from the bar which was ok however the starter came out with the main to which I was told “that’s what happens when you order from the bar”

Didn’t like the way the lights were, couldn’t just have a lamp on as soon as you flicked a light switch off it turned the lamps off too
