The food in the bar massively let the hotel down. Our son had pizza, which actually on reflection was the safest bet. The cob salad was unimpressive and tasteless. I expect the fatty and pale cold bacon rashers on top of the salad were left over from breakfast! My husband’s ‘half a roast chicken in lemon and herb butter’ was 2 chicken legs with very little tasteless meat. We wouldn’t stay at the hotel again purely based on the evening food provision, which is a real shame. We’d go as far to say that it’s the worst meal we’ve had in a very long time.

The setting is beautiful. Sitting outside the bar overlooking the golf course on a sunny evening was great! Staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and spacious.

A bit dated with worn/old carpets in rooms with stains. Lots of room service items left in corridors taking a long time to be cleaned up.

Swimming pool facilities great especially for kids. Breakfast very good. Nice surroundings.

We had 2 separate bedrooms for a family of four and both rooms smelt musty and odd. Needed better ventilation.

The breakfast was amazing. Great choice of hot and cold . GF selection available with separate area and toaster. Golf course views were lovely. Pool, spa and steam rooms were fantastic.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Facilities and breakfast were superb. We were upgraded to a bigger room...this was a bonus. Staff, were very helpful. Overall a lovely stay. Stayed here for Upton Blues Festival.

There needed to be a couple more disabled spaces for parking as there was a big skip in one of the spaces, perhaps it would have been better placed on normal parking spaces. Unfortunately the restaurant changes its evening menu every week so we could only look at a menu at reception quickly which didnt make things very accessible. People like to plan meals before they go on holiday or get to their hotel, so having no core menu or online menu isnt very helpful. I felt like the room we were given was a long, long, long way from reception, perhaps something should be said on their information page for people who have mobility issues so they can let them have a room closer to Reception.

Puckrup Hall is set in a beautiful location, obviously golf course means lovely greenery and beautiful trees. We were able to park closely due to disabled parking which was great. The Hotel is very smart and staff are friendly. The room was pleasant, not too small and had a lovely big bathroom. Breakfast was very calm and peaceful, it was self-service so there were no queues, you could help yourself. There was a big selection of breakfast items, that covered all options. I loved using the waffle maker in particular. We loved going in the swimming pool, there was a problem with the change rooms but we were given robes so that we could change in our room instead. The beds were very comfy in the room. There were hydration stations in the hotel which were very useful. It was very relaxing staying here.

The quality of the room did not match our expectations with pricing. The bath/shower wasn't clean (multiple hairs in bath), the shower curtain was stained and needed changing, the bath/shower tiling is old and grotty, the layout of our room meant that our beds were on the opposite side of the room to all plug points and alarm clock. We weren't informed that there was a wedding when checking in - would have been courteous to inform us music would continue until late.

Overall a good stay for 1 night. Hotel was in a good location, friendly staff, lovely pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, good restaurant, liked that our rooms were next to each other when we asked for them to be close by, comfortable beds, good sized rooms.

Cleaning was particularly great, one day of our visit our room didn’t get serviced at all. We had to visit reception for replenishment. Suspect this is down to the lack of time given to cleaning operatives to service each room
