Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThere's no space in the mini-bar to store water, meaning our own liquids were warm. There was an ice bucket in the room and an ice machine located next to the lifts. This helped out, but we still could have been doing with an empty fridge.
A high-end hotel with excellent facilities, attentive staff, and comfortable rooms. The area is a very safe part of London, frequented by business workers and tourists. There are plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. Wembley Station, just about 200 meters away, offers numerous commuting options, making travel easy and convenient. I'd also recommend the breakfast. Fantastic selection. I had the full English a few days in a row. The Swim & spa area was excellent as was the Roof top bar, worth a visit.

United KingdomThe view from our room was of the top of a building, plus the surrounding buildings (room 879) The price of a pornstar martini and a single jack Daniels and coke was just shy of £30 on the roof top terrace!
The room was amazing, the roof top terrace was incredible. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and incredibly informative and helpful. The complimentary water and hot drinks in our room were a nice touch. Breakfast was reasonably priced at £14.95 when booked at reception upon arrival, the breakfast lounge was clean and the food and service was brilliant. All the staff were very smart in appearance.

United KingdomThe only thing i can think of is that the coffee in the room is freeze-dried instant. A nespresso or other coffee machine would have been welcome.
The location is excellent - we went to a concert at the excel and this turned out to be right opposite the venue so was super convenient. You're also so close to all the amenities that this area has to offer. The staff were also really nice - our checkin experience was really really good and the assistant was very informative. The room was very nice with a really good bathroom, and the breakfast the next day was also amazing. Really big selection of food and the restaurant was spacious and airy. The bar was nice for relaxing in at the end of the evening and closed quite late.
