we loved the location,lots to do with the family but it’s over priced especially when this property needs more love and care by who ever owns it .

Canada26 reviews9 helpful votes“Good location, but find somewhere else”The space is quite cramped: trying to get chairs at the table means no living room space, the bedrooms have limited space around the bed. No hooks to hang jackets at the front (it rains in Wales). The bed is terrible: you can feel every spring jab you. The walls let all of the noise through. The listing says Wifi, but we couldn’t find any details. We also weren’t provided any garbage bags and had to buy our own. We tried to fill the bathtub, but the hot water didn’t work. So we tried using the shower and the hot would cut in and out (which would make for an uncomfortable shower).
Great location near to Caernarfon. Isolated cabin (so no direct Neighbours). In a holiday ground, so access to a general store, small restaurant and bar and there is a play structure and swimming pool (we didn’t use the pool, but apparently it is heated).

Dusting or hoovering around furniture, so don’t look under the bed!! Decking awful, and not inviting in the slightest. No wifi - this was needed and one reason the property was booked for Snowdon race and time checking. Despite best efforts by owner this remained unsuccessful to resolve!!
Property was easily located in a useful area for Snowdon

I've never complained about anywhere I've stayed through Bookings but I feel I have to make this my first. I took my young family to Wales for the weekend. The price was steep but after the booking I was contacted loads by a women called Mary from travelnest through booking, text messages etc. I then found out that I would have to send a deposit of 100 pounds before our stay which I was a little surprised but knew we weren't the wrecking rooms kind of family so I went along with it was stated it would be returned within 72 hours. I waited the time period and messaged Mary and she said she would check but it was usually returned as soon as the stay was over. I checked my bank and the money hadn't been returned so I messaged her and she said she would sort when she got home. The next day it still hadn't arrived so again I messaged Mary and she messaged back saying 'oh sorry, I forgot to message last night, we dont seem to have your bank details on our system'. I swiftly sent them and she said she'd send it later. A couple of days later I messaged again but no response! Where is my money? So to the accommodation! I tried to do a little research before I booked but with no avail, I've never had a bad experience when booking with Booking.com so I trusted it. The price is extremely expensive for this accommodation. The gate was broken and when I entered the living area there was a massive rip in the sofa and a mould on the curtains. I took pictures straight away as I didn't want it to affect my deposit. The advertisement of the stay said that toilet paper, toiletries were included and when I walked into the bathroom it was bare. I rang Mary and she said 'there's a shop nearby' and she'd speak to the cleaner. She also stated that toiletries weren't included but it clearly says on bookings that it was.
