On arrival there were problems were they said that they don’t have my booking. Even though I have them the code and message from the manager there was a confusion about this. There wasn’t any clarity on whether a room was available until another 15mins of having around.there was conversation between the colleagues saying another guest had also suffered the same. So little bit disappointing in the beginning. Also my room wasn’t changed and towels were not changed unfortunately hence the score

My one disappointment throughout was the state of the carpets. Marks and signs of spills throughout from the rooms themselves to the corridors. Which is such a shame as the rest of the hotel was great, with clearly dedicated and hard working staff.

This hotel was very popular with lots of clientele staying there when we visited. The location is great, as right near a metro station and walking distance of the Trafford Centre, and easy access from the motorway. Check in was easy and the staff were polite and accommodating. We had a little mishap with the room, which was dealt with straight away, with no quibbles. We had a twin room, and the bathroom was immaculate!!! A little small, but immaculate with a decent powerful shower! The room was spacious enough for two adults, and well designed. The beds were OK, although the mattress was a little too firm for me (personal preference). And the tea and coffee making facilities were functional but basic. Had a safety deposit box = perfect. And an iron and ironing board.

Breakfast wasn't the best, tables weren't overly clean(but the amount of staff wasn't that high, so their workload might have been high). Lack of milk, even after asking staff(there should be milk near the tea/coffee facility).

Found the bed not comfortable this time , although the aircon was great I found the duvet too heavy and hot , the bedroom was nice and clean on arrival but next day I found the coffee mug and the glass in the bathroom not washed , only a little niggle, breakfast was lovely but evening meal was expensive for what it was also bar prices was £5:50 for a pint of larger

This was my fourth visit , local to the venue I was going too, next to a nice pub , staff was really lovely and helpful

The dish I chose for a late lunch (vegetable lasagne) was n/a. I had chilli con carne instead which was okay but literally had two kidney beans in it! No nachos which were listed as being part of it either. The so-called house salad consisted of yesterday's cold cabbage, peas and beans and a few cherry tomatoes. Not really acceptable.

Breakfast was on the colder side. Some large stains on the carpets in room. Flickering bathroom lights. Housekeeping only made up one bed throughout the 4 night stay. Tv was low quality with terrible wifi signal for watching YouTube. No mini fridge in room for storing milk etc

Quiet stay with quick access to uber at all hours. Directly across from McDonalds which is ideal. Nice clean foyer with decent breakfast options. Comfortable beds and adjustable room temperature.

The signposting could have been more effective- arriving in the dark if wasn’t very clear to see. More effective lit signposting would have been helpful particularly as thus was our first visit,

The location was ideal for the Trafford Centre - well within walking distance of- therefore thoroughly recommended. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice for all tastes - recommended. The car parking was only £3 for 24 hours - ideal to leave car and walk to Trafford Centre. This was convenient and very enjoyable 2 day visit.

Sitting/dining area downstairs very basic and not particularly warm or comfortable. My error when booking not to ask for sofa bed making up, but request for it to be made up or for sheets/duvet cover so I could do it myself not well received.

Everything was easy - staff booked me in within a minute, wifi had no password to connect, did not need permission to have breakfast - everything was made to feel easy. Rooms also had clever design ideas.
