The restaurant was closed and we only found out when we went down for food. The staff member gave us good directions to pubs although they were full and couldn't fit us in.

Thr Breafast needs to have more cooked items. They offer many alternatives but for the last 3 years or so, it is the same 4 items that are cooked. Bacon / sausages/ Scrambled Egg / Beans. The Jam etc for toast is now in a bowl instead of little tubs and they have got rid of marmite totally. I like branded foods and with the complements for the toast now in bowls, you could be eating cheap value brands. The butter and marg are still in little tubs, so you know what your eating. This is cost saving but no reduction in cost of rooms etc.. Premier inn do a better selection on food to be honest.

We always stay at this hotel as it is in a perfect location for easy access to thr M61 / M60 / M6. We always go to the Traddord Shopping Centre as its only 30 minutes from this hotel. Plus we always visit Preston Town centre which is ideal for another shopping day. This has a lovely lounge to chill out in and have a few drinks, staff are lovely and always helpful. Loads of free parking on site.

The only meal available in the evening was pizza, that would have been ok but it was way overpriced , welded to the plate and pretty disappointing.In.the morning the Orange juice machine dispensed water and one of the tea/coffee machines was not working

Breakfast very poor, bacon to hard to eat. Most of it was only warm even though we were down early. Reception staff not very welcoming on arrival, just a matter of fact attitude.

Stains on the carpet,lift supposed to take 8 people could only take 2 and the noise was very unnerving.The rats running around in the carpark where a bit of a surprise.l

There were no usb plug sockets as other budget hotels have had, so I didn't think to pack plugs this time. I will know for next time. Just a personal preference on the location, the noise from the nearby motorway was loud with the windows shut, would be very uncomfortable in the summer with the noise or needing the windows closed. Nothing much they can do about this, and having stayed at hotels closer to busier motorways without any sound, it is simply a case of not having the tree barriers the other places have had to block the noise.

The only comment would be that the lamp shades were a bit scruffy looking, but everything worked, so no problem.

I liked open plan and very bright reception area. Book in process was extremely quick & efficient. Our room was spacious & spotlessly clean with an exceptional bathroom & a very large walk in shower. Breakfast was of very good quality. A very good experience overall.

The room and the toilet where not very clean, shame. The bedside lamp in the room can do with a bit of TLC and will be great if a USB port was available.

The Breakfast was great lots of choice and i good selection of hot food. A good think is that you can take a complimentary hot drink with you and a fruit when you leaving the hotel. Great for the journey a head. The room was big and the toilet and shower where a good size too.

Beds are not too comfortable, and the sofa bed falling apart. It was just about OK for young children to sleep on, but adults would have struggled. Rooms also a little tatty, decor not finished well (emulsion all over door frames, loads of marks on wall, etc). It's not a major issue, especially if just staying for one night but could be better presented.
