I found the bed too high, really difficult to get into (and I am quite tall) and the furniture in the bedroom almost non-existent. Somebody kindly brought me a chair from the bar. The only other furniture to sit on was an awful low sort of daybed with no proper back.

The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and fresh.

Training given to morning staff who have control of Breakfast Station, think of customers and don't think of rushing off.

Sorry Breakfast quality was very poor, example the sausages at breakfast were nearly none eatable and when I was having my breakfast I went for some milk for my tea and the breakfast station was shut when I arrived, the staff give no warning and just walked away and not very polite.

Would have preferred individual jams and spreads instead of big jars at side of toaster you either have to spoon it onto a plate or do it there when others were using toaster but other than that no complaints

Buffet breakfast was plentiful, but food kept in Ban Marie`s was a little dry, would have preferred, fresher cooked food, but realise that may not fir your business model?

On my first night, they had sent the chef home because they weren't busy enough to justify keeping him. Meaning Front of House staff cooked the meals. I ordered a burger, which tasted great. However, I was sick the following day. I can't help but think was this burger slightly undercooked due to it not being a chef cooking? The room was absolutely freezing when I first went in. The heater takes an age to heat the room up. But once the heater had been on for an hour or two, it made the room a pleasure to stay in.

The bed was really comfy with the option of soft and firm pillows. The rooms are fitted with a wall mounted TV, which is a decent size to lay in bed and watch. The rooms have a en suite bathroom which was very clean. There is plenty of car parking available. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was amazing.

We were given a room with an a joining room (which did not have our additional family members in) the person in the joining room, repeatedly rattled the door , banged on it and knocking from the time we arrived In our room. We reported this and it was explained it was an additional needs person which we understood so tried to put up with it as we felt they may just be trying to work out why there was another door in there room, However after at least an hour of continuous banging knocking (for the noise it sounded like two hammers fist banging on their side of the door and then trying to get through to our room but using the door handle and trying to unlock the lock, we requested to change rooms, which was accommodated with our hesitation. My issue with this is we booked two rooms and were not placed together, so why did they not place our additional family on the adjoining room rather than a someone else? As even though we had be moved someone else would have then been put in our previous room and would have had the same issues?

Our room was so close to the smoking area we could hear people having conversations outside at 5.30, which woke us up. Bed was decent but not the comfiest.
