Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNothing springs to mind.
We had a really pleasant stay. No problems parking, easy check in and nice welcome, a quick swim which was great and comfortable beds with crisp linen and fluffy pillows. The bathroom was very fresh and clean. Breakfast was relaxed and the buffet was really well presented and plentiful - and extremely good value. My daughter (aged 10) ate free. It was perfect for our needs (my daughter had a competition nearby) and I'd definitely return!

United KingdomWould’ve been nice to a have a fridge in the room.. the service at the restaurant was very slow as not many servers took over an hour after seating to get meals which wasn’t ideal with a toddler.
Perfect location to Peppa Pig world. Also the attention to detail for kids like play area, gift on check in, nighttime treat, kids eating free

DenmarkThere was only one issue i had, which was kinda major, but i found a work-arround: The lights in my room were inproperly wired, in that, if i used 1 of the bedlamps, it would cut off all lights. Furthermore, the other lights didn't just turn on them selves, but all other lights, really strange. But my workarround was this: The bed lights were done correct/isolated, so i just used them for when it was time for bed.
The staff was amazingly friendly and always had a welcoming feeling. The rooms were fresh and had every amenity i needed for a superb experience, such as glasses ready in the toilet to wash my mouth, good bathtub etc. The room had a lot of poweroutlets, and so that was never an issue, along with a good free WiFi. Lastly, the breakfast was amazing a long the serving staff. Really top-stuff.

CanadaReally didn’t have anything to dislike. There were a considerable number of children under 5 which may discourage some guests, but it did not detract from our stay.
Staff were very good and the breakfast outstanding. The room was as expected but also very good. We enjoyed our stay. Loved the gym especially the high quality Concept2 rowers.

United KingdomDirt/garbage under the bed, I asked housekeeping to clean it and they did not. You had to pre-book the timing for breakfast which was a bit annoying because you could not just wake up and go.
Room was average as expected, breakfast was good, pool was good and all other facilities were good

United KingdomSunday morning breakfast was chaotic. Even though we had booked a table for a specific time, there was no highchair available. The staff looked lost with so many people. Certain items have to be ordered and they forgot to bring one of mine for example. I understand why they have a booking system for the restaurant but it's very hard to predict when the kids will be hungry. Also, leaving to book at the check in will surely mean disappointment for some. I tried to move a dinner slot and there was nothing available but the restaurant was not full. A sign needs to be put on above the heating panel to show where the button to turn it on is. It would avoid a lot of frustration. I wish we knew beforehand about having to book a timeslot for the pool. We got a space in the end but if we hadn't I would have to handle a very disappointed toddler.
The hotel structure is great for families. It feels like they designed the hotel with kids in mind. The playroom is full of toys and a video game, 2 screens with cartoons, the cutlery at the restaurant made of plastic, the colours, everything. Staff as courteous and I fell they handled our allergy with care at the restaurant. The food was really good, big portions. Breakfast had lots of options too. Rooms were clean and tidy. And I also didn't need to go around making it safe for my toddler. The bed is really comfy and lots of pillows and more than enough towels. I had a couple of requests which were done without a problem. Good size of car park.

GermanyCarpet was damp, bathroom was old-fashioned and had step-in bath, not ideal for older or disabled guests. Some biscuits with the tea and coffee set up would have been nice.
Room was small but cozy and well furnished. Comfortable bed, nice toiletries and good pillows. Tea and coffee available, but not enough milk. Breakfast was fine, but no different from the cheaper Holiday Inn Express hotels, would have expected something a bit nicer.
