The check can be annoying. They ask for way too much ID. Also, your wallet points cannot be taken off from your hotel price stay.

The room could have been a little cleaner and there is never enough milk for the coffee we had to request extra milk twice.

The heating in room. It was too hot . I tried turning the heating down on the radiator but it didn't make much difference.

Booking.com stated the breakfast was included but when I went there, it was not and I had to pay extra. This was not the fault of the hotels but booking.com. I use their filtering system and check off the breakfast included option which included this hotel

It's a little out of the way and there was a few extra charges that were probably a little unnecessary.

I was not expecting the most comfortable night form the pictures but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable enough and there was no significant noise. For a straightforward overnight at decent value it worked well.

I didn't like the unprofessional way staff and reception manager. Spoke about visitors. One guy who had stayed prior, was upset that he couldn't check in. For the duration of stay booked. After he left the guy behind reception told a member of staff that he had blocked that guy from coming back. The fire exit nearest the barrier was blocked with furniture on inside, health ans safety There was also a comment made between two members of staff they preferred it when the coach parties stayed. Breakfast was served and done all together, rather than the individuals coming in dribs an drabs. I didn't feel very welcome with this comment, as my stay had already been cut short by a day due to coach parties.

People hanging around outside entrance intimidating as on my own for first part of my stay and also police being called and ambulance there due to a domestic problem drug alcohol related

Broken radiator meant room was boiling and couldn’t sleep. The mattresses were cheap and springs poked into our bodies while we tried to sleep

The first room I went in had a half full bottle of water on the side suggesting a chambermaid oversight. The shower didn't work as the tap was incomplete. It's not that I didn't like it but there is nowhere else on this review to mention that although the hotel was clean and bright, welcoming and friendly; the fixtures & fittings are tired and the place could do with some re-investment. don't let that put you off though. A resort it is not but for a comfy clean bed to sleep in, it is more than good enough.

The beds were comfy and the room was a good temperature. The reception boys were really helpful when dealing with my shower issue but could only relocate me to a twin room. Proper kettle in the room. Excellent shower pressure & heat. Clean enough.
