I'm unsure as to how one would class the room as a disability access room. The only factor is its on the ground floor and has a bar in the shower to hold onto. However the toilet is extremely low to get down to and I would expect a walk in shower or wet room as difficult to climb into bath

The staff were absolutely lovely and the bed extremely comfortable hence still a high score even with concerns

The room we had was an Executive Double, but it was on the road side of the hotel and the traffic noise could be plainly heard - it sounded like a window was open, but we think it was coming through the window vents as no window was open. We also had issues with the air conditioning unit. On the first night we had to ask a staff member to come and turn it off due to the noise (and it was cold) - he thought he managed to turn it off completely. However, during the second night it kept coming on for a few seconds every 10 minutes, which kept waking us up. Finally at 3am I managed to shut the thing off.

The room was a good size and had all we needed. The bed was a large double and the pillows were comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find a small fridge in the room in which we were told were complimentary bottles of water, cans of coke, and a couple of kitkats. The food was excellent - the buffet style self serve breakfast had a full range of hot and cold items. We had dinner on the first night, which was excellent. And the staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all we would rate our stay as an 8 out of 10, higher if we had managed to sleep.

Bathroom, jacuzzi type bath looked old and uninviting, shower curtain old, toilet squashed beside wa and sink, not enough room.

remote control for tv didn't work (room 211), room 208m some tv channels not tuned in correctly perhaps, or experienced a lot of interference. Light fittings in the room also quite loose.

The IHG Holiday Inn was not marked well enough from the road to make an exit. I overshot the place twice. A nightmare !!! It needs a higher sign with Holiday Inn on it.

Not having The availability to check in early if room was ready without a £20 cost. As discussed the hotel is frequently used for staying while visiting Soughton Hall for weddings. Weddings generally start early so having to book in after midnight once returning wasn't good, especially when some of the room keys wouldn't work.

The Staff made this stay more than it could of been. The location off the dual carriageway was slightly awkward but that was soon forgotten.

The location is not the best on a busy duel carriageway but other than that cannot fault the hotel.

Nothing. The noise from the road was a bit annoying but nothing we couldn't get passed. Kind of self explanatory when you book.

The staff were super friendly, the room was spacious and super clean. And the food was amazing. Nothing was too much for any of the staff there. Any questions they were happy to answer. And always had a smile when you entered the door.

The location adjusted to the A55 will not be for everybody, but the road noise was much less than expected. However it was very convenient for a road side stop on our way home.

It is what you would expect from a Holiday Inn. The room was a good size and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food is OK. All for an affordable price.

Room especialy Bathroom very worn out Broken floor tiles very bad repairs to toilet with silicone past. I actually cut my toe on the broken sharp edge of the floor tile

The room iron fell apart while I was using it. I took it down to reception when I went for breakfast and a replacement was waiting for me on returning to my room. Dealt with speedily, so all good.

Perhaps a little expensive, however one must remember that it was platinum jubilee bank holiday and that demand was probably very high.
