Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomI'm unsure as to how one would class the room as a disability access room. The only factor is its on the ground floor and has a bar in the shower to hold onto. However the toilet is extremely low to get down to and I would expect a walk in shower or wet room as difficult to climb into bath

United KingdomThe room we had was an Executive Double, but it was on the road side of the hotel and the traffic noise could be plainly heard - it sounded like a window was open, but we think it was coming through the window vents as no window was open. We also had issues with the air conditioning unit. On the first night we had to ask a staff member to come and turn it off due to the noise (and it was cold) - he thought he managed to turn it off completely. However, during the second night it kept coming on for a few seconds every 10 minutes, which kept waking us up. Finally at 3am I managed to shut the thing off.
The room was a good size and had all we needed. The bed was a large double and the pillows were comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find a small fridge in the room in which we were told were complimentary bottles of water, cans of coke, and a couple of kitkats. The food was excellent - the buffet style self serve breakfast had a full range of hot and cold items. We had dinner on the first night, which was excellent. And the staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all we would rate our stay as an 8 out of 10, higher if we had managed to sleep.

United KingdomNot having The availability to check in early if room was ready without a £20 cost. As discussed the hotel is frequently used for staying while visiting Soughton Hall for weddings. Weddings generally start early so having to book in after midnight once returning wasn't good, especially when some of the room keys wouldn't work.
The Staff made this stay more than it could of been. The location off the dual carriageway was slightly awkward but that was soon forgotten.

United KingdomThe location adjusted to the A55 will not be for everybody, but the road noise was much less than expected. However it was very convenient for a road side stop on our way home.
It is what you would expect from a Holiday Inn. The room was a good size and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food is OK. All for an affordable price.
