Elevators need to be bigger in capacity!! As I notice a flow of guests in and out and when they are checkin and checkout struggle with their luggage bringing them in and out. Elevator need servicing as well.

Hotel was comfortable and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Very handy for transport into the city with the bus stop virtually right outside the door, running every 20 minutes or so with a 10 minute journey.

Breakfast quality can be improved by lowering number of food options. Room size is too small. We booked three rooms but one of them is much smaller than the others.

The hotel was a bit tired and rooms could do with an update and not as spacious as other Holiday Inn Express hotels we've stayed in. We had a room with an adjoining door to the next room and we could hear everything that was going on and were therefore conscious of any noise coming from our room. I also don't think guests should have to pay for parking when staying in the hotel.

The hotel was well positioned for our purpose and was next to a retail park which was handy as we didn't want to venture into the city centre. It was great that the windows opened as we much prefer fresh air to air con.

Fire alarm maintenance, a fire alarm going off so had to quickly exit the hotel immediately following a shower which was an inconvenience, there was a random door inside the room which led to no where which was random, breakfast ended a little early

The food that we ordered from the bar was not very tasty.

The hotel was cheerful and airy, the staff was friendly and helpful at all times and the breakfasts were good. The view of Edinbrugh City from our hotel window was outstanding. Also the location was excellent as there is a large mall across the street and the city center is just a bus ride away.

I don't understand how the room didn't have a refrigerator as small as a bed side fridge. There were no disposable toiletries. Strange choice. The restroom had a strange smell on arrival. A septic smell. Could be a bad day, but it left a bad impression. Generally, there are many things that can be improved for the cost that customers pay. There is so much that can be improved.

The bed was comfortable. The room was alright, there was a TV in the room. Free WiFi. The area is quite accessible. The elevator arrives very quickly. The staff were nice and welcoming.

Hotel was clean and reception staff were friendly. When we walked into the room there was a handyman fixing a shelf so we had to go back to reception for a new room, we were given a free drink each for the inconvenience which was appreciated. It was an easy bus trip to the centre of Edinburgh. Breakfast was good, lots of choice and nice and fresh. We would stay again, the small park outside was good for our children.

Needs abit of tlc, ie windows/doors let in a draft, bathrooms dated, extractor fan needs looking at. The heating also had a mind of its own. New mattresses and softer pillows would work a treat! Room not ideal for family of 3 (abit small)

The location is fantastic it's not far into town added bonus was it had a car park. The breakfast was good. Lovely staff, house keepers on point 👉

When we arrived in our room we found [ SORRY THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN BOX BELOW] the toilet had not been flushed. The disabled ------------------------------------------------------ Buzzer was going off beside our bed. Which we had not touched. Breakfast could have been better. Bacon over cooked, heated bread rather than toast
