It takes a while for hot water to come out.

The staff who has lived in Japan welcomed us with a smile. He explained about the hotel with jokes and it was funny. Also, it was great to have an English breakfast for me. All the other staff members were also kind.

The bathroom was very old and kind of dirty and mouldy. Sink wasnt cleaned properly . Could use a renovation. Carpets were also quite dirty and stained. Shower pressure was extremely low, I couldnt wash my hair. Also there s a door inside the room that connects to the room next to us. It was very odd and we could hear the other guests as if they were in the room with us. But overall it was ok and we had a good time.

Location is very nice, right next to the bus station and a complex with supermarkets. Staff is very friendly. Room is nice and bed is confortable . Breakfast is nice but you have no vegetable options.

The carpet in our room had a massive stain, the lock was not secure at all, and the fire alarm was taped up but visibly broken.

Everything is fine, but sometimes you want to sleep a bit more and breakfast is served only until 9:30 in work days, is nothing bad, just a comment. Good breakfast though!

A little expensive but we're in Edinburgh so expected. The shower pressure was poor but did the job. When housekeeping cleaned our room, they didn't restock teas and coffees, not the end of the world just a very small inconvenience.

Easy check in process, everything you need in a hotel, bed, shower, kettle etc etc, about 30 min walk into the centre.

Waiting on drinks at bar was a little annoying - would suggest a bell to alert staff to come and serve.

Location great, quiet but with easy access by bus to the centre of Edinburgh. Room very comfortable and clean with a fabulous shower. Breakfast selection good and fresh.

Real shame not to have tomatoes among the hot breakfast items - would have been so much better to have the option of tomatoes as an alternative to baked beans. Also, on one day there was no hot water in the early evening when we wanted to shower before going out to dinner. We spoke to staff at reception and it had been remedied when we returned a few hours later.

We stayed in January so the hotel offered a sale price was exceptional value for money. Nice room and bathroom. Parking on site at a low cost. Buffet breakfast with yogurt, cereal, coffee, juice, bacon, scrambled eggs and baked beans (but unfortunately no tomatoes or mushrooms).

The hotel is located right across a retail park with a big supermarket which made late night shopping very convenient. My room was more than big enough for myself, very comfortable , with a great view and the bathroom was really clean. Shampoo and shower gel were provided.I had forgotten toothpaste but it was really lucky to find out the hotel provides you with some things if you didn’t bring them with you. The staff were so friendly.
