The lodge itself is lovely, well equipped, clean, and feels private. The park is such a nice place to stay, we went on a couple of nice walks, and the tea room is a real highlight. An absolute must whilst visiting!

We absolutely loved this accomdation. Nestled away so peaceful in a beautiful setting. The lodge itself was stunning! Immaculately clean. The staff were very friendly & helpful and the grounds were perfectly well kept. Brilliant location just outside the city centre 20 minute taxi ride. Will definitely be staying again.

Very modern, clean and good facilities, good space for family of 4 with one being a baby. Hot tub big plus too. Liked how it was close to York but also in the countryside. Peaceful and quiet area especially as we visted during half term,log cabins spaced out well, Staff very friendly, rang us to let us know cabin was available early which was nice.

Only small negative bed uncomfortable.

Accommodation was fantastic, spotless, welcoming, home from home and hot tub just the icing on top off the cake. The accommodation was very remote but we knew that which made the whole experience even more relaxing and enjoyable. A wonderful place to refresh and recharge without any interruptions.

Having to leave on check out day! There seemed to be a one way system around the site but some didn't adhere to it making it tricky when exiting the lodge. If it is intended as a one way system, some signage might help.

Lodge was extremely comfortable and had lots of extra little touches that made it even better. The heated walk in wardrobe was a great surprise for drying the hot tub robes and space to store clothes. Sunken hot tub was perfect. The site had lovely wooded areas to walk around and routes to go further afield if you wished. Millers Tea Room was a fantastic addition at the entrance to the site. Proximity to the designer outlet park and ride made accessing York very easy.

There were no plug sockets in the smaller room, that would have been handier. The jogsaw puzzle wasnt complete and it was a rainy day so some of us wanted to play it.

The location was good and the cabin was private and really nicely decorated!

The staff needed to check the hot tub frequently and at times this felt as though privacy was impacted.

Loved the property and the hot tub. About a 20 minute drive to York which was fabulous.

The price was a bit high for the short stay we stayed but would come another time of year when the price isn’t as much, we stayed mid July

No complaints whatsoever, only thing I would have liked is a mirror in the twin bedroom.

Faultless, lovely peaceful location, lodge exceptionally clean and well equipped. Grounds well maintained. The hot tub is lovely and it's always reassuring to know the water is fresh upon arrival. We will definitely use again. 👍

The lodge was clean and extremely comfortable with everything you need to hand. Hot tub was wonderful. The site was quiet and relaxing with lots of forest paths to explore. We took a disposable bbq with us and there wasn’t anywhere suitable to use it as the decking was all wooden. Went to reception before going into York for the day to mention this and they said to leave it with them. Came back from our day out and a bbq stand with concrete slab top had been built for us to use. Nothing too much trouble. Can highly recommend this place for a short break 😁.
