There was a group of 12 of us were staying here for a funeral & the hotel was good. We had dinners together in the evening which were all good and pleasantly served by the staff who were all very helpful.

Only thing I can think of is the staff in the Restaurant never smiled and were quite stern it didn’t make us feel very welcome, also lack of coffee in the room I found myself always going to reception to ask for some more

We stayed on a Sunday night, so excellent value. Large, very comfortable room. Unfortunately we didn't have swimming gear so didn't get to enjoy the pool, etc.

I thought the breakfast was over priced as it meant almost an extra £110.00 for 3 mornings!

What a lovely hotel set in the mist beautiful grounds. Once again, thank you for providing such a delightful stay. I will recommend your hotel to friends and colleagues, and I look forward to the opportunity of returning in the future.

There’s nothing to complain about here although my partner said the rooms were too warm.., didn’t agree ha ha

Didn’t expect the place to be that grand, if we knew we would have packed some nicer clothes to go to dinner or breakfast in but we were watching local footy in the cold so just had a lot of warm scruffy kit on ha ha! The place looks a little bit tired if I’m honest but it didn’t detract from the stay and the beds were so so very comfortable!! It’s on lovely grounds and it’s a pity we weren’t prepared for how nice it was there otherwise we’d have made more of it.

Nice sized family room. Great facilities - we enjoyed the pool and spa, as well as the pool table and the golf driving range. Breakfast was good too.

There were a few problems with the room, my bed didn't have a mattress topper (although the other did) and was unpleasantly lumpy. The staff put that right quickly though. The main problem was that the room was quite musty smelling. Housekeeping came round with shake n vac and that helped a bit, but it came back. To be fair, we were offered another room, but we couldn't be bothered to move by that time. I had a pillow scented spray with me, which helped.

The place was lovely, compact and accessible. Tbe pool and leisure facilities were particularly good. The pool and jacuzzi were accessed by steps rather than a ladder which was great for me as I have mobility issues. The buffet breakfast was excellent both days. All of the staff we spoke to were very helpful (see below), with a particular shout-out to the greeter at breakfast on Saturday who could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We went up to Ilkley Moor and into Bradford for a show so the location was spot on for all sorts of activities (although I would not drive through central Bradford again in a hurry!). A smashing birthday weekend!

This is purely personal but the main restaurant/bar's choice of music was more akin to a fitness room than a dining area, but they kindly located me well away in some peace and quiet and even gave me a tray so I can eat on my lap. Sorry loud repetitive, monotonous music is not my thing.

First of all the price was so reasonable. Rain had effectively stopped the golf, so they had to fill the beds. For £160 for two nights in this standard of hotel was so reasonable. Then they gave me a room overlooking the valley and the spa/leisure facilities are very good and well staffed. The breakfast room commands a fine view and the staff were so friendly, helpful and efficient.

This was our third time staying here. The first time was good from what I remember and a decent room. The second time it was winter and central heating wasn’t very warm at all and we couldn’t change the temperature. They had to get us a plug in heater. The third visit most recently it was warmer weather, now in spring and we had the same room again and was far too warm this time. They should have heating and air con in the rooms, especially for guests to control the temperature to their preference. Being such a big hotel, air con is definitely a must! Men’s showers were out of use most recent time we went.

The location is very nice.
