As I was on the third floor, the water pressure was low for the sink, the shower pressure was good. The high costs involved in resolving this issue are disproportional to the gain, I suggest that the issue is made clear prior to booking a top floor room.

The staff, food and location suited me perfectly., I would be happy to return.

Cleanliness: very clean as Lucy the landlady is keen to keep everything hygienic and safe Room and Facilities: so well furnished and very likely considerately designed, many clothes hangers, good and clever use of bathroom space, powerful shower and stable flow, heating at reasonable hours, usb and normal sockets Staff: Lucy and John are both very friendly and helpful, keeping showering me with local and coastal information since the very moment I arrived:), generous portion of delicious breakfast!

So lovely! Lucy and John are so lovely and so accommodating. I have a bad gluten allergy and they didn’t make me feel like it was a problem at all! Would 100% stay again!!!!!!

Room was slightly smaller than expected but it wasn’t a problem.

Hotel was in a great position in the centre of town and easy to walk everywhere. Breakfast was perfect and the fruit salad was amazing. Host was great too and made an effort to get to know the guests.

lovely stay over Easter weekend 3 nights. Holway is very clean & comfy, Lucy & John very amenable, breakfast was fab, great location for town & local region. I must recommend if you want to eat eat somewhere nice in sheringham book weeks in advance. had a lovely time thank you Lucy & John the two Jo's.

Holway House is in a great situation, just a short walk to the shopping area and sea front. The single room was very clean and had everything required for a stay, including toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities and a comfortable bed. The breakfast was lovely with a choice of a cooked breakfast or alternatively cereals, yoghourt. toast, fresh fruit and home made marmalade and jams. Perfect start to the day.

The only thing we feel could be improved upon is the bed, as we personally like a softer bed. But this is partly down to our personal choice, as we have had the same problem in virtually every place we have stayed in! I suppose guesthouses have to get a reasonable balance with differing personal preferences, and I suppose we have been spoilt with our own specially chosen bed. I've often heard people say that there is nothing like your own bed! Apart from this, the facilities in the bedroom were superb and welcoming, with great attention to detail.

John and Lucy were excellent hosts and genuinly friendly. They are also very experienced in the tourist sector, so their real competence blends well with their friendliness. The whole place is spotlessly clean, and they obviously see their guesthouse as a labour of love. John's expertly cooked breakfast gives you a great start to the day in a very warm and cosy breakfast room. And the quiet location is perfect, just a few minutes away from the centre of Sheringham and the steam railway. Good off-street parking available, too. John and Lucy have done wonders to totally refurbish this lovely old guesthouse since they took it on about 7 years ago, and they deserve their success.
