The staff were so helpful at check in, breakfast and check out especially the conceige as we needed to leave bags before and after our stay. Nothing seemed to be a trouble and all staff very welcoming and happy. Quality of toiletries within the room were a lovely touch.

The fact I had to leave earlier than check out time, due to a work emergency!!

Got to hotel early, but staff were great. Held my luggage & it was in my room by the time I returned. Room was huge & all amenities were perfect. Breakfast was plentiful & hosting was perfect.

Lots of drilling noise during the day. Noisy bathroom door. Could hear the lift constantly opening etc from the room.

I have had a lovely stay no complaints except 1 the room advertised on booking.com for a junior suite was not the room allocated to me. I was disappointed that there was no separate seating area however this was the only complaint food was amazing staff were friendly and helpful facilities were amazing swimming pool was great would definitely recommend

Hot breakfast wasn’t that hot and the potatoe scone was brick hard . Coffee was terrible but it was the last cup in the help yourself container . There was work going on somewhere snd the noise woke us up early. The tv next door was also a bit loud but luckily it didn’t go on late . We asked for the conditioner bottle to be filled but still none on the second day ..

We got into our room early . Pool and sauna facilities were good . All the staff were nice and friendly . Room was spacious and fresh. Towels were nice and bed was comfortable.

Lovely big room, nice breakfast. Pool was a bonus. Very convenient for this part of town. Tesco express just up the road. Easy to get taxis

Nothing - it was fab

Loved the central location - easy to get to the Holyrood Whiskey Distillery and the town centre. The breakfast was awesome as well! Loved the haggis :)

The one and only slightly disappointing thing was no lamps in the bedroom, maybe they are to be added as it is a new room?

All of it. We went for an evening swim in the lovely warm pool, the facilities were brilliant and they dim the lights so it was really relaxing. We stayed in one of the new rooms which was very spacious and clean. The bed was like sleeping on clouds. Dinner was fantastic, although the bang bang cauliflower was extremely bang bang!! And breakfast was also delicious with so much choice.

Spa and gym facilities compared to the rest of the hotel would require a bit of updating.

Very good hotel with polite and helpful staff. Every one from receptionist, concierge to breakfast staff were there to help us. Fresh and modern looking hotel in a good location. Breakfast menu with variety of options. Room and bathroom in very good condition and size, with a comfortable bed.

It was a little walk in to the town, 10 mins but easy if you are getting the bus

Ordered poached egg on toast, which came as 2 eggs on 1 slice of uncooked and not buttered toast, very unappetising. Other breakfast’s were great though.

We stayed in rooms 16 and 18. The walk to the room felt like it was part of a different building as the carpets were a little down at heel. This was only a small detraction.

Pool and leisure facilities were great. Staff were friendly and always helped with queries. Breakfast was very tasty
