How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

There was no power point in the bathroom, (not even a shaver only outlet )
Good size bedroom , kitchen and dining area big( they aren't in the room)

Absolutely fabulous property, mordern, spotlessly clean and very comfortable infact i got the best nights sleep the bed was unbelievably comfortable also great facilities with a lovely communal full working kitchen

I could not fault this place at all.
this is purpose built guest rooms and had all the facilities you could need set in a rural setting just outside Hillsborough with ample parking. and very spacious rooms and I could not find fault. location, space, quiet, private & relaxing

1. It was a little bit difficult to find the address because the eir code did not bring us to the exact address. But the owner explained how to get there. 2. It will be great to have a shower gel and shampoo dispenser in each shower. We don't always take toiletries with us when we travel.
Great accommodation for a family. Very clean room, comfortable beds. Bath towels were clean and fresh. It was just hand soap in the bathroom. It will be great to have some toiletries (shower gel, shampoo). Big advantage that there is a hair dryer. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare dinner, new kitchen utensils, a big fridge. The owner was very nice and welcoming. I bothered her for so many questions and she was so polite. Thank you very much.

It's really very minor but the toilet cleaner was a little overpowering in the room. Stil rate the place 10/10
Clean, comfortable, fresh. Good location for accessing Belfast and Banbridge/Dromore etc. Quiet place in the countryside. You do need a car to get there but we loved it. My children wanted to stay longer. We had a room that used the shared eating and kitchen area which was fine. There was a water cooler too of needed.

Not allowed to cooked on first day but was eventually able in a room nearby. Fridge was not working and lost a bit of food but was quickly replaced asap.
Clean bathroom and living room is spacious and clean. Kitchen is in common room upstairs with separate dining room. Ceramic hobs is a bonus. Washing machine is in a separate room with washing tables and comfort liquid supplied.very pleased compared to our previous stay in Belfast which restricts the washing to one per stay.

We didn't like going out shopping and coming back to find the surrounding rooms to ours and the kitchen and dining rooms full of Indian refugees who were very noisy especially from 1.30am to 04 am they were extremely noisy banging every door In the place and shouting as they were being moved out. After that it went quiet .The kitchen area was unusable and we were very reluctant to use any of the facilities outside of our room .

Everything was perfect
Quiet, convenient to amenities and onward travel routes. The suite was spacious and clean with everything we needed. The host provided clear guidance on how to get there and upgraded our room! My pet dog was warmly welcomed.
