Excellent facilities at Homewood. Beautiful gardens also. The staff at Homewood are very professional and attentive. The food and drinks and are too a high standard and the entertainment that was provide was amazing ( Leigh Coleman- acoustic set). A fantastic stay and I can’t wait to book another stay !

The restaurant staff were not always as attentive as would be expected for such a hotel. The Reception and Spa personnel were very good.

The hotel and grounds are beautiful with interesting features both inside and out. The room was very clean, light and spacious. Of note is the extremely comfortable bed. The food was delicious.

If I were to nitpick I would say the steps into the pool weren’t the best but I did hear that they are in the process of replacing them. Some of the tiles in the spa could use a deep clean but that’s really nitpicking.

The staff were excellent. Every single member of staff went out of their way to make our stay special. a particular thanks to Becky from the bar who gave fantastic service, any questions she didn’t know the answer to (as it was her first day) she promptly discovered and encouraged us to make the most out of our stay bringing drinks to different locations. Our massages were brilliant, the food was excellent. Really great stay, will be coming back.

The ladder to the swimming pool outdoor felt extremely unsafe which we did report but unfortunately once in the pool which we both slipped off the ladder trying to get in the pool and hold it steady meant getting out was a bit scary and ended up with bruises. So other than the outdoor poll it was a relaxing time but ladder used some stress.

The staff were lovely. The room was spacious and well decorated. The hydro room was extremely good. Room was relaxing, Room service was great and the drinks and treats to help yourself was lovely.

We stayed in one of the junior suites and the room was in need of a little attention, some fixtures were broken and/or dirty. All in all though it did not massively detract from the stay but I felt the room way not maintained to the same standard as the rest of the customer facing sections of the hotel.

Beautiful grounds, bar, restaurant and spa facilities. The option to allow Dogs is also a bonus. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable.

Although the room was lovely there was a horrible drain smell (like sulphur) - I did inform reception and she did offer to move me, but once the windows were opened it was not as bad and as I had unpacked and already had over a 7 hour journey, I did not want to move.

The food and service at the restaurant were fantastic, with the staff being very accommodating of my pooch! Breakfast , both food and service were equally lovely.

we loved it, we stayed in a hot tub suite. the room definitely could do with some freshening up (stains on the rug, chips in furniture) as the price was quite high for one night but apart from that we really loved the place and will be back!

The sweet corner was a great Touch. All food was amazing. Room was luxurious with hi tech items in there. Welcome cookies were lovely too.

It is not cheap but in a beautiful location. We were given room 9 up on a steep second floor staircase. Perhaps staff can ensure that guests are informed about this. Room was ok. Staff lovely food reasonable. But hoovering on a bank holiday Monday at 745 am in the common areas! Woke us all up.

For the price of the suite, we thought the 'unexpected' places could have been a little cleaner. For example the ledge around the bath and the edges of the bathroom floor and around the bed.

We loved the spa facilities to help us relax and throughly enjoyed our dinner at the hotel. The food was delicious, very well presented with lots of flavour and variety to choose from. We also enjoyed the complimentary drinks and snack as this created a lovely touch unlike other places. The staff were very friendly and welcoming helping us feel at ease on our retreat.
