Just that we were there for a Mon-Fri break and the Country Club facilities such as the Restaurant for Breakfast and Dinner was closed on Mon and Tue and we didn't know this until we got there, unfortunately.

Lovely location on the Country Park, the Lodge is situated in one corner on the edge of the Golf Course. It is so tranquil and peaceful. It is very well equipped with all "Bee" themed items. Hive heating system is fabulous, would warm up very quickly if needed. Parking for 2 cars alongside the Lodge. Michael the owner kept in touch, but we had no course to need him as the Lodge was superb.

Comfortable all the amenities were there and ready for you. Everything was so well explained in a book or notes. We wanted peace as we were coming from London and that’s what we had. It’s a place to find peace and leisure in a healthy way. We had that exactly! Beautiful land all over it. We will definitely go back and pass the word to other serious people.

The property was spotless and super clean. Very cozy and everything you would need was there. It was a family trip to relax and it was just perfect. I did regret not having booked an extra day.

The only downside was having to leave.

Everything was utterly beautiful. From the lodge itself to the surroundings. I couldn't fault a single thing. The owner was excellent at communicating everything and very helpful and pleasant to speak with. We were greeted by a bee upon arrival, which I'm not entirely sure how they managed to pull it off but it felt quite magical haha! The view from the outside was impressive and upon entering, our opinions only increased. The decor is stunning and the little extra bee details found around are adorable. It wasn't until our second night that I spotted the base of the beds had even been tied in with the theme! Very impressed. It was all exceptionally clean and comfortable and had everything you could need and more. Loved the books and toys to hand too! The surrounding area is so tranquil. Everyone seems respectful of one another's space but also friendly enough to stop and say good morning, making you feel welcomed too. The night is what caught me off guard though. Sat outside on the deck just enjoying the peace, I couldn't believe how breath taking the stars were! I don't think I've ever experienced anything so beautiful before. This is the most wonderful stay I've had and we are already trying to look at when to book again next! Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy your lodge!

Very comfortable and homely lodge with everything you might need for a weekend away. Good facilities at the Country club for an additional charge - we used the lovely pool for a family swim and my partner enjoyed a round of golf. We arrived late in the evening and the instructions on entry and key collection were superb.

Nothing. One minor observation-no instructions for electric fire on wall but managed to work it out pretty quickly.

Everything. Nice and quiet. Lodge in the middle of the golf course. Clubhouse and restaurant 8 mins walk. Radiators throughout. Fully equipped lodge. Would definitely stay again.

There isn’t a word I could say about the lodge.

The lodge is exceptional! Absolutely fantastic. A lot bigger than it looks, extremely comfortable. One of if not the best lodge I’ve ever seen.

One twin bedroom room is on the side next to one of the golf course greens, which was ok but you had to remember this when opening the curtains as the golfers are out from 7am😁

Really lovely rural location with plenty of walks, no noise at all at night just the owls! The lodge had everything that you could need, really nice touch to have provided tea, coffee, milk, eggs and bread even for a two night stay.

N/A. - what is a shame is the poor attitude shown by the staff of Tydd St Giles golf course. The lodge itself was superb.

Michael was extremely accommodating and helpful on the run up to stay at HoneyBee Lodge. The Lodge was spotless and the information packs left inside helped us navigate the local area. Plenty of space to relax for a group of 5. Thank you!

We liked everything really. The mattress in the main bedroom was a little hard for us but not bad! Some people like beds like that! There were plenty of pillows bedding and towels etc.

This is a really well equipped lodge. Far better than others we have stayed in. There was every utensil we needed (even though we took our own). From corkscrew and bbq implements to scissors, plentiful cutlery and cooking utensils, champagne flutes and even an electric hand mixer (which we did not need 😁) The tumble drier was very handy for drying towels and swimsuits after a swim as it rained for our entire visit! The bedside lamps in two of the rooms were amazing! Two USB ports per lamps! No adaptor plug needed at all - just your charging cable. A TV in every room, although we only used the lounge one! The TV in the lounge is a smart one with Netflix and Prime logins. Toilet paper, shower gel and shampoo, as well as handwash in both bathrooms was a pleasant surprise. A dishwasher with a supply of tablets was a lovely surprise too. Honestly, a really well equipped comfortable lodge! Great communication with Michael before and throughout the stay. Would thoroughly recommend a stay at this lovely lodge.

Somehow didn't get all the details we should have from booking.com which meant we didn't have final location details. Called the owner and he text full details within a minute. Great service.
