For anyone sensitive to noise, be aware of the nearby high-speed train track. Noise level akin to a low flying jetliner which we originally mistook it for. However, given the speed at which the trains whizz by, the sound doesn't last long, nor was the frequency of the trains enough to become an actual nuisance for us, personally. Therefore not really a complaint for us, but worth mentioning to any prospective guests nonetheless.

Corina was a very friendly and welcoming host. Very spacious room and en suite. Included continental breakfast was a treat with plenty of variety. Pleasant 20 min drive to Stonehenge from here. Also benefits from being a beautiful stargazing location - we were amazed by how many stars we could see from just the car park!

It was a continental breakfast. There was lots +all very lovely. Corina the owner was a fantastic host+ made us all feel at home + she happily made a change to adapt as I hadn't booked enough people into a room.😃😃 The location is beautiful, so many stars as no light 😁pollution 😁

Actual Homestead building was dated.

Stayed overnight, lovely walk with dog out back of homestead on National Trust land. Bed comfortable, owners very friendly. Breakfast super

The only thing not to my satisfaction was the mattress found it a bit uncomfortable other than that no complains.

Perfect for an overnight stay on the way to the west country. Accommodation clean and comfortable, breakfast varied and plentiful (wonderful fruit salad) and most of all, helpful, attentive, and caring hosts.

No net curtains. People passing by were looking into the room. Had to draw the curtains during the day and put the light on which is very unpleasant considering the lovely weather. Net curtains are easy to put up with an extending bar and cheap to buy. It would make a great saving on electricity.

Ideal stop over for travel to SW. Room comfortable and quiet - passing trains not really a problem. Continental breakfast was good. Host very pleasant. Great food at the Wyndham pub about 15 min walk away.

Rooms did not have air conditioning, mattress springs were a bit hard, shower had a weird dip in it. Watch out for the train passing by!

Right nect to train tracks so when the train is going next to the peoperty it can get loud randomly.

Size of the room and bathroom. Very clean. Really good breakfast served also earlier than normal depending on request of the individual guest. Very attentive staff.

Door from bathroom wasn't closing completely so was a gap where the air from bathroom went into room.

The train track is very near and is very loud if you have window open but once closed you can barely hear it.

Quaint little place and Corina was absolutely wonderful and couldn't do enough to make sure stay was welcoming.

the property is well-maintained @ the rooms and bathrooms are clean, breakfast was perfect! Corina and her husband were very welcoming. I like the smell of freshness in the rooms where we stayed.
