Nothing really but the hotel is due a refresh.

The owners were excellent hosts and i was made to feel very welcome throughout my stay. The Pizza was very nice and the breakfast selection was excellent. The hotel is very quirky and comfortable which i liked.

Sue, Ken and Moira were very welcoming and made me feel like one of the family. A beautiful building, in a quiet and peaceful setting. A very generous breakfast, a comfortable room and a pizza oven, plus a bar - what's not to like?

Relatively close proximity to Farnborough for anyone visiting the International Conference Centre / Air Show. Hotel was clean and comfortable and the artisan pizza was delicious. Breakfast and parking also a bonus

We were given a very small box room in the roof. Even though we had a dog. Facilities were OK.very dated bathroom facilities.

It's sad for such a gorgeous hotel that it's now surrounded by housing estates and Sainsbury's. But that's not a criticism, just a comment. I barely noticed the noise of traffic in the room.

I loved the little, cosy room, supplied with everything I needed for a short stay. Breakfast was just right! But what always makes a place for me are the people. Such a lovely warm welcome, kind staff and fascinating takes to tell. The gallery idea was amazing and Moira is a superb artist! I'll be back...

This is an old building, but is well-kept, however on our particular visit the hot water in the bathroom was not working, it didn't impact us too greatly as we literally stayed the night (attending a friend's birthday party) but we got the impression had we mentioned it, the staff would have tried to address it. The Bar also closed quite early compared to a mainstream hotel but this is a small niggle for what was a very comfortable experience and if we were visiting in this area again, Hook House would probably be a first port of call.

Friendly staff, easy check-in, comfy room with a good sized bathroom and coffee / tea facilities. Location was great for our purpose, plenty of parking and a great self-service breakfast available in the morning.

One and only criticism I could give was not great when showing. However this maybe due to a lack of water pressure.

The old charm. Everything these days is so modernised, this charming house is very special, with its history dating back to 1684 (think that was the date). There is a very faint hint of a South African them, for myself gave me a very welcoming feeling. Breakfast was good and variety was sufficient, considering this was included in the price. Definitely would return for a stay.

Mattress older and not comfortable. Pillows not good, very thin. The floor sloped away, as it's an old building that's understandable but bed should have been levelled to counteract the sloping floor. Bathroom dated.

Great location, lovely historical building. Good quality breakfast ingredients. Good parking.

The website was not clear that Pizza is not available on Sundays. I had received an email from Hook House which did say this but stupidly I skimmed it and forgot. The owner of Hook House directed me to a local pub which filled the gap.

I always have a comfortable stay at Hook House. The garden is lovely. Normally I would enjoy a Pizza. It is a short drive to my business appointments in Farnborough. I also like the interesting art on the walls.

Nothing not to like, if you’re happy with dated and quirky , this fits the bill . Could do with a glass in the bedroom and the Shower tiles need a little tlc

Beautiful location. Cute little bedrooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. Shower was very hot and powerful even at the top of the house . The bedroom had a generous amount of ‘goodies’ in the tea/coffee department.
