Nothing - although the lift was very slow!

Excellent location, very good facilities, very quiet at night - given its a city centre location!

The bathroom was lovely and was spotlessly clean but unfortunately it does lack water pressure so the shower itself was a bit of a struggle. The room overall was beautifully decorated, spacious and very clean. My only negative would be that it was a little dark.

It’s in a great central location with lovely rooms. The staff were all really helpful, attentive and friendly and the breakfast was delicious with good quality produce.

    There was nothing to dislike

Everything. From check-in to drinks in the bar followed by a meal in the evening. Great central location for Bristol, easy walking distance to theatre and waterfront area. Beds super comfy, en-suite shower room was beautiful. Breakfast was superb. The pub/bar area is dog friendly and so are some of the bedrooms

Surprisingly stylish and well appointed rooms for a pub / hotel. The location was great too, on a quiet side street but right in the City Centre. Breakfast was good and good value too.

The bathroom mirror is set quite far back which was inconvenient for me as I am very short sighted. A magnified wall mirror that pulls out would be a welcome addition. Our room was opposite other buildings so it wasn't possible to open the curtains until we were fully up & dressed. A voile modesty curtain would really help here

    Beautifully refurbished and designed

The hot water in my shower was not hot enough, I mentioned it to the staff after the first night but it had not been resolved before I left the next day. The room I had only had a roof window that could not be opened and the room was more like a single room yet not been sold as such.

It was not my first time in this place. It's a cozy inn, relatively new in a good location. The rooms are nicely decorated and the stuff is friendly.

We arrived after midnight, around 00:30, and the receptionist waited for us in the street to guide us inside and get us checked in. Also, the room was really quiet, despite being in central Bristol.

Really spacious, characterful and well-equipped room. The fresh milk in a jug and the little complimentary phial of port were nice touches. Good breakfast cooked to order in the pub restaurant where we also had a very good evening meal the night before.

    Nothing!

Made to feel welcome on check in. The breakfast was one of the best I've had in ages. Just a shame it doesn't start until 0700 and I had to be on a train at that time the second day, that was my loss though! The room was really well equipped, spotless and very comfortable.

If I would say one thing, the hotel has no parking. But as there are several parkings nearby, it wasn’t a big issue. We parked at Gallérie Bristol which is quite reasonable choice but also safe enough as the parking is closed after 23:00. And it took only 5-6 min by foot.

Stylish clean room as expected. Staffs were kind and helpful. Very convenient location. Good breakfast.

I was not told there was a lift when I checked in and there were no signs indicating one. I was on the second floor and carried my case all the way upstairs, only to find out later that there was a lift. I reported this to the manager who was helpful and said staff would be contacted. I suggested a sign was installed on the ground floor.

The room was amazing, beautiful, compact and comfortable. Food excellent.

Food options in the restaurant. Quite an uninteresting menu that didn’t tempt us to order.

The room was really hot on arrival and we couldn't find the thermostat to turn it down so had to leave the windows open which later in the week evening we could hear lots of noise outside. Also I had requested a bottle of wine of arrival for me and mum and we got port which was not expected at all and was rather grim. There is a mini bar in your room but be careful as some prices are not listed.

We loved that we were on the top floor so noise was minimal. The room was a twin room as it was a surprise for my mum's birthday so this was really handy and comfortable. The location was perfect as we are in the heart of the city close to all the bars and restaurants.

It would have been nice to get a complimentary bottle of water or something, for the price of the room, it seemed a little stingy to have to pay for a bottle of water from the mini bar. I was also surprised that my request to extend my checkout for one hour warranted a £25 fee (when I spoke to them over the phone). But the guy at reception only charged me £15 which was kind. I'd expect the luxury of a complimentary late checkout when you're paying these kind of prices for a room.

Very well located and stylish hotel, the room was lovely and comfortable and a great size. Really enjoyed my stay here and would come again. Slept very well, and the bathroom was lovely, with nice products. There was a coffee maker and kettle in the room, and room service available via an app. Liked having a key card and side entrance to come and go to the rooms, instead of having to go through the main bar. The bar below is very nice! I skipped the breakfast and instead popped next door to the amazing Breton creperie, loved it!
