Room was very small, the pictures for a double room on booking.com did not live up to our expectations. Offered a room change by reception but due to limited time to get to a show we unfortunately couldn’t take up the kind offer.

Hotel itself is centrally located, very nice building, reception very friendly and helpful. breakfast was superb and service was very good.

Didn’t appreciate receiving a NCP fine through the post 2 weeks after our stay despite having paid for parking though the hotel! Sure they will get it sorted (otherwise watch this space!) but it is a bit of an unnecessary faff.

Lovely facilities, great gym and ‘social hour’ free drinks was a lovely bonus.

    Everything was great.

It’s a beautiful period property. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Adam on reception was very welcoming and informed us we had upgraded room. The room was great and the bed was so comfortable. Weekend breakfast until 11.00 and 12.00 checkout was perfect after night enjoying Manchester.

This hotel is amazing, I'm from Manchester and I stay here sometimes for a special treat. The last time I stayed with my three children and the staff were fantastic with us. The hotel has socials on for both adults and children including a movie hour with free popcorn and ice creams near to the games room which is a great space to explore. The rooms are beautiful and the bar and restaurant are exceptional. We will definitely be staying here again soon.

Amazing hotel - can’t believe we have never stayed here before it was excellent. The check in was smooth, the building the hotel in is stunning. Everything from start to finish was amazing. The complementary snacks and drinks in the mini fridge were a surprise. Great gym too!

Whilst there was a great deal of options for breakfast, some of the items were sub-par standard for a 5* hotel. We went for breakfast at 8am and the pastries were stale. The hot food was also lukewarm. A walk-in shower would be a good option as well and there were places through the hotel where a bit of a paint touch-up could help.

Really welcoming arrival. Staff generally were very pleasant. The room had an amazing high ceiling and the style of it was great, being in a converted bank. Food at breakfast - really good amount of selection and should cover all tastes. It was a rainy weekend and there is an umbrella in every room for guests, which is a great touch. Also the food and drink in the room is all complementary (but don't get excited, there's no alcohol. It's limited to a couple of bags of crisps, tea and coffee bags and caramel wafers). Whilst we didn't have time to take advantage, they also offer a welcome drink for guests in Refuge which is attached to the hotel - only between 5-6pm.
