The room was small, no space to open the large suitcase.

Excellent location, next to Aldgate station (Metropolitan and Circle line) and Aldgate east station (District and Hammersmith & city lien) is only 3 minutes away on foot. Tower Gateway station (DLR access to the City Airport) is also 10 minutes walk. There are small supermarkets near by. The roof top bar has nice view of city but the drinks are expensive.

Great hotel, very clean and beautifully decorated rooms. 20 second walk (if that!) from the Aldgate underground entrance so superbly located. Worked perfectly for us as we were at Wembley for a concert, didn’t need to change as Wembley Park is also on the Metropolitan line. Will definitely recommend to family and friends doing the same thing!

We liked everything about the hotel

We needed accommodation so I could run the Marathon. We loved the hotel and room. The service was exceptional. We used the new testament twice for great breakfasts. The room was VERY quiet, comfy and clean.

Our room had a defect ventilation- and socket outlet in the bathroom. The bed was a bit smaller than we were used to. Nonetheless this hotel is a recommendation!

I understand the dining area was being renovated so there was no chance to have breakfast.

The room was very comfortable and the en suite lovely and clean with very nice products. There was a great coffee machine and a kettle so it was possible to make a tea or coffee. It is very conveniently located being right next to the tube stop which is great if you are travelling with luggage. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The restaurant is closed for refurbishment, not the hotels fault really, however maybe would have put this information on the booking page instead of receiving the message after paying but wouldn't mark the hotel down for this, there is plenty of places near by for food and the roof top bar for drinks is brilliant. Also, didn't see the point of the hotel taking a holding deposit on CC if restaurant isn't open to be able to charge food/drink to the room.

Everything - Smooth friendly check in, room was immaculate, location is good with the tube station next door and a short walk to Tower Bridge. Roof top bar, although completely separate to the hotel offer amazing cocktails and cracking views.

It’s just missing a restaurant and room service, and the rooftop bar is often closed for private parties. I can’t wait for the bar and restaurant to reopen, it makes a difference after a long trip and day at work.

The staff, they’re amazing and go above and beyond.. the property is very clean and chic, spacious and well maintained. I regularly stay here as the location is great, and again, the staff are brilliant, particularly the front desk and concierge

The hotel at the time had no food option and the roof top bar was cramped, expensive, and overall overrated.

The room was nice and spacious, the hotel location was great right next to a tube station so easy to get around from our hotel.

No restaurant as it was getting renovated but we knew this prior to staying so didn’t effect us. The bathroom kind of flooded after a shower no matter how long u showered for- which was annoying if u needed to nip to the toilet before leaving the room as u would then have wet feet and then walk onto the carpet. It was almost like the water went the wrong way from the drain. The bathroom was beautiful however I just think poorly thought of the practicality aspect.

Beautiful city centre property. Modern hotel with good facilities for what we needed for our trip. Sky bar was a big bonus! Our room was a dual aspect room so we got to see the tower bridge and the London skyline which was a huge upgrade! Room was cleaned every day and we loved the little added goodies. Would rate it a 10/10 stay- staff couldn’t do more for us, from early check in, welcome goodies on arrival and then holding our luggage for us after check out so we could do one last day of exploring! Great location- tube right next door, the station was closed for 2/4 days of our stay but not a fault of the hotels obviously, the reception were very helpful to direct us to the closest station that was open which was just up the street a little bit. Quiet location and never heard a peep out of the neighbours which was great after a day of sight seeing!
