Decor of the room quite dated and communal areas were worn.

Lovely big room with beautiful sea view. Nice bath and shower worked well. Kettle and teapot, a nice touch.

Only one disabled parking spot which couldn’t use as there staff members use it before the customer plus we got lied to when we asked about who car was in the bay without the disabled blue badge o my to find out it was a member of the hotel’s staff

We were declined a window table at 15:00 because we were only having coffee and cake even though there were tables free the entire time we were there.

Although I had a Single Room it was adequately spacious with a good view. The staff were nice and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast was great with lots of choice (although you had to pre-order your cooked options the night before), plus the service was exceptional.

The room 202 was very dated and could do with redecorating, the bathroom window was very dirty. The food prices were very expensive but very nice.

The position on the sea front and staff were very polite and friendly.

Only a few really minor issues. The two bottles toiletries supplied were so tiny there was only enough for one person. I was pleased I’d brought my own. Second issue was the room would benefit from a few more electrical sockets particularly on the bed side of the room (there were none!) Lastly, if you were thinking of booking a beauty treatment I would suggest you do so when you book your room or well in advance of your stay as there was no availability for the duration of our stay.

Lovely large room with an amazing sea view. Very comfortable bed and room was nice and quiet. Staff were warm, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. Cooked to order so lovely and fresh. The location of the hotel was perfect we enjoyed walking along the beach front to the pier, harbour and town. Southwold is also only 20 minutes away so it was a perfect location to travel in for a day trip.

Single room (302)was very small and had an unattractive view of a fire escape and the side of the nextdoor building. I was woken at 3 am by some very noisy guests who did not seem to be aware that the rooms aren’t very soundproof!

Right on the beach and our room had a wonderful sea view. The staff were absolutely amazing. Shout out to Adam who helped me with my luggage when my son fell over outside. The waitress at breakfast was also superb, incredibly helpful. I will definitely be coming here again. Thank you!

We had quite long waits for dinner and for breakfast in the morning, although staff were really apologetic. We had lovely views to look at whilst we waited.

Our shower in our room was unbearable that's our only criticism no power so difficult to rince shampoo out of hair took ages to get the hot water through then it would get too hot we think we had one of the rooms that has not been updated where some have and hopefully have better showers.

I regret that I cannot think of any serious faults.

My room was comfortable, albeit a little warm at times. I found the food and the service in the restaurant very good. The food was nicely cooked. Throughout the hotel the Staff were curteous and helpful. Overall, I was pleased with my choice of the 'Hotel Victoria' as it served my purpose as a good base from which to explore the Suffolk coast.

Noisy neighbours but they were quiet after 10. I can’t blame the hotel for children crying at 3am. A few noisy pigeons in the morning weren’t great either.

Staff were friendly and helpful, great bar area, nice and local to the seafront and Parkrun. Was back after Parkrun in time for breakfast and it was great then a quick shower and back on the 11:06 train to Bham via London. It all worked out to plan.
