Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe key boxes could have been higher up. We had get down on the floor to see what we were doing. Not easy at our age. The wire of the hair dryer didn’t quite reach the mirror would need a plug extension. Also there was an ironing board but no iron.
Everything you need in the apartment to make life easy dishwasher and washing machine. It also provide the dishwasher tablets and washing machine capsules. It was clean and had plenty of space. It was central and convenient for the railway station and shops.

Comfortable duplex in nice industrial design complex on a quite location next to the city center. Lift + stairs to Duplex. On arrival very clean. Internet, TV+, washer, dishwasher, fitted kitchen with ample appliances. Wifi and on-site parking included.

United KingdomCancelled my booking on the day saying someone had damaged the room after I had travelled 277 miles, leaving me with no option but to book a much more expensive hotel. Have not responded to my requests for a refund. I was shocked to received a message from booking. Com claiming I had damaged the room that I wasn't able to stay in. Upon checking the detail they claim I lost the key and want £450 from me. Complete con company.

Also the landlord falsely accused me of breakingva chair, then changed his mind ! and saud it was a bed frame and tried to chargecme for it. Abyssmal...maybe someone broke in.
At firstvi thought it was good value for money.

Then to top it off a week later they try and charge me £500 for a damaged chair the room was that small there wasn't even a chair in there apart from that little deck chair try to contact them and they don't answer disgusting services absolute scam

Saudi ArabiaFILTHY, fine layer of grease and dust on everything with a sprinkling of random stickers, stains and the odd fingernail clipping, which was surprising as I’d paid an extra £29 for a 3 hour earlier check in, direct to their bank account. Wardrobe door hanging off, no bedding provided for sofa bed apart from a dirty duvet and a frankly crusty blanket on the bed. AWFUL mattress, every spring felt like concrete porridge, sheets covered in hair and sock fluff. Two threadbare, stained towels. Cig burns on carpet, ripped sofa and a massive crunchy stain on the rug. No cleaning products, toiletries, bathrobe, dining area, iron (provided later), hairdryer, lampshades, lightbulbs in bathroom or bedroom. No mirror or plug in bathroom sink so shaving is impossible. They did drop off a table with 2 chairs on the 6th day, didn’t assemble them, just dumped them on the floor. Shower is stuck on max hot and leaks all over the floor because no seal strip, massive damp patch on ceiling as a result. Boiler broke and in order to “switch it off and on again” as per their instructions we had to pop off the front cabinet (it is designed for that purpose with brackets) and left it off in case we had to access which is why I think they attempted to charge me €500 for breaking a cabinet. Gas certificate is also out of date. We are here because my mum is in ICU and I did consider staying on, which they were happy to do directly for a £3 discount but in the end the cold, filth and positively horrific mattress won and I left. Plus I’ve already had carbon monoxide poisoning once and a dodgy and unserviced or legally checked boiler is not something I’m risking. Apparently it got fixed by the cleaner’s daughter, “not the British gas man”. They also said they do not read reviews which might explain the constantly poor reviews with no changes.
Great location, bright well lit flat. Plenty of other options in Hull, though.

United KingdomThe property could use some filler and repainting, it was worn out. The kitchen utensils were not in good condition or clean, we were not able to cook at the property. I received an email claiming damage was sustained during my stay. No damage had occurred and I've been unable to contact the host to resolve this.
The location of the accommodation was perfect for exploring the area. Everything was just a few minutes walk away. Easy check in and reasonably priced accommodation.

United KingdomWas given apartment 5 instead, sofa was awful bed not much better. There was washing in the washing machine. No towels or tea towels. Wasn’t very clean. Shower was boiling hot and broken could not turn temp down. Paid more as booked bigger apartment which should of been 9 that had the facilities I wanted. On second night my apartment had been double booked and the couple were stood outside the door, they ended up having no where 2 stay. All of the key boxes are at apartment 5 door for their other apartment, so very noisy and unsettling. communication with owners was poor and did not seem 2 be bothered by this. They also lied to the couple who had also booked apartment 5 saying the previous people had damaged it, obviously the couple knew this was un true as they spoke with me.
