I was escorted to what I thought was on old folks home but later realised this is was actually our room. Shower was dreadful. Definitely overpriced

room was to simple for 500 pounds. and first night we stayed there was happening a wedding.And it was so loud. even after 00:00 which was disturbing for us who tried to escape from loud city noises. And we had little kid who has trouble to get decent night sleep . because of noise

The single room was really very basic and small and dated. I did not have a good night's sleep as I was disturbed by leaving party goers really quite late a night. There had been a school prom in the hotel. The dining facilities were furnished with canteen type tables

I like the rural location and the staff were friendly and helpful. I cannot comment on the breakfast as I left too early. The grounds were attractive with a long tree lined drive.

The decor is a little dated but suits the building and location fairly well. Would love to see some modernisation in the future. Sound within the building isn’t great. Noise from other rooms is easily heard along with other guests in the dinning area, lounge and bar.

Great staff and food. Felt very welcome from the moment you enter. The dinning menu is limited but what is on the menu is done to a very high standard and had no complaints. Staff where very friendly and couldn’t do enough to accommodate your stay.

Beautiful hotel, views are absolutely stunning to most parts making it look like you're in a different world, it is majestic in every way possible and the staff are just a delight, so helpful and welcoming, we will definitely be back with family and friends. Thank you for a magnificent stay. Without it being the best get away already my partner decided to pop the question on the balcony 🥰 it couldn't of happened at a better place, my heart is so full right now.

some breakfast items were poor (eg kipper ?boil in the bag and precooked bacon & sausage) and only fruit was canned grapefruit (off limits for most oldies); no prunes or “continental “ bfast. Poor sound insulation between adjacent bedrooms - noise till midnight every night. Cursory room cleaning (food items left from previous occupants and obvious door smears not sorted)

The room was clean but the decor and furnishings were very dated. The breakfast was ok but nothing special. It wasn’t a cheap stay and I would’ve expected more luxury for the price.
