Steep stairs and very warm

The stairs. No lift in unit we stayed in. Had to carry bags to third floor, six flights of stairs with last one the worst. Asked for ground floor or first floor, not available, no offer to pay for upgrade to different room.

The location was idea, close to two tube stations, shops and restaurants. And Kensington Palace.

No lift for the fourth floor, relatively dirty at the communal areas, generally not well maintained Ridiculously asking for a credit card “guarantee” of £200

It wasn’t clean enough and apartment in which we stayed was on 4th floor- without elevator, for us it wasn’t a problem but in case you are older or coming with small child it would be a big problem.

Really great location, 2 tube stations in just 1-2minute walk.

Nothing special. We were satisfied.

I liked the appartment was on the ground floor - easily accessible. The reception desk where we got entrance cards was just next doors.

The apartment was in the basement it was hard to bring up and down our stroller all the time when leaving\coming back to the accommodation but other than that all was good

The stairs to the bedroom, very steep. Tripped down 2 steps, should really be improved for safety. All really good apart from that.

Good area, friendly helpful receptionist on arrival. Clean and relatively quiet location. Really good condition, comfy bed, had everything we needed for a 4 day London family break. Searched lots of places and very pleased we chose this one. Would recommend if that is the area you chose to stay in. Relatively good price for other places to stay in the area. Bonus of having 2 tube stations in the next street, 1 minute walk away, great with luggage and kids!

They didn't let me change my room from the basement. It was a nice building but not nice without a view at all. Otherwise the rooms were very cute, good space for 2 people.

The climbing of 6 flights of stairs was difficult with bags and a lady in her 70’s (that may be my fault in not realising a deluxe one would be at the top of the property)!

- Pricey for its facilities. - Does not have an elevator. - Room did not have toilet paper. - The entrance door in the ground floor cannot be locked.

Close to the metro station and Hyde Park. It is OK if you do not plan to stay in the room the whole day.

The property has a kitchenette, but there wasn't a kitchen towel to dry the dishes, and there was no surface spray to clean to worktop with. These two simple additions would make the place much more comfortable to stay.

Lovely people at reception, very helpful as well.

The noise. This was made aware to staff during our stay. We were in basement apartment and could hear everything above us. Also the cleaners kept propping the fire door OPEN with a fire extinguisher. This is an unsafe measure but also meant that when the main front door was opened and closed our whole door shook! But it made a difference when the fire door was kept closed.

The room didn't match the photos from the website, and the room was a bit of a waren, the reception was hard to find with it not being well signed

The room was below street level and was absolutely freezing cold upon arrival. The room was poorly insulated (could hear everything in the flat above as well as the traffic etc outside!) and I didn’t appreciate being woken at 6am by screaming children thumping across the floor above! The television was very poorly positioned in relation to the bed and the choice of channels was pathetic.. Absolutely nothing interesting to choose from! Given the price and hype I am extremely disappointed. The Travelodge was far better!

It was a decent price and was well presented. Also the location was close to my appointment and I appreciated being able to check in early. The kitchen was basic but clean and being able to move/angle the tv a bit was better than nothing.
