Beautiful and cosy cottage clean and well equipped. A fabulous tranquil place to stay with stunning views. Lots of beautiful places to visit and explore nearby. Check-in and check out extremely easy. We stayed 2 nights for a wedding locally. Recommend without hesitation.

Only minor downside being on the ground floor is the noise from the apartment above at times. Also, it's not the most private as other guests have access all around the cottage so you have to keep blinds shut to bathrooms/bedrooms for privacy - though in fact it is quiet most of the time. Maybe net curtains would help for those rooms.

Location is beautiful, lovely gardens and views over the loch and up towards the mountains. Cottage was very well equipped, warm and comfortable. Thoughtful extras like coffee included, books and games. Very comfy bedding, hot showers and very clean. Excellent arrival information and hosts helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful place and location! Hosts were great and made booking easy. The apartment was great, fantastic views, wonderful bathrooms. We wish we had been able to stay longer. It’s conveniently located for going to different places. Would definitely stay there again.

Location was brilliant. Great walks and scenery in easy reach - many on the doorstep!. Good base to reach other areas. Lots of nice little touches in the accommodation like good quality tea and coffee supplies and an extensive dvd library.

Everything was exceptional! Renate has been a wonderful host. The property (Honeysuckle Cottage) was charming, beautifully decorated, impecably clean. Beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had all accessories needed for a family meal, and we could use a washing mashine. Finally, and very important to us: the property was very quiet and silent. The forest around the house is magic. We recommend, and we will surely come back.

There was not a single thing of which to be critical.

This accommodation was spectacularly beautiful and well priced. The rooms in the suite upstairs were beautifully decorated with gorgeous furnishings, including an actual Narnia wardrobe!! However for me, the views from every window were hands down the most outstanding part, they were simply breathtaking to say the least!!! The grounds were also incredible which included access to walking trail and a picturesque playground with rope swings and balancing rope; it felt like a woodland circus course. In our 3 weeks of UK holiday this was without doubt my favorite place to stay!!! I will definitely return on my next trip and stay for longer than 2 days.

I struggled with the very thick duvet and waterproof mattress protector as I get very hot legs at night but understand why it needed to be there

Location is amazing, 5 mins walk from Loch Etive. Property was bigger than it looks in the pictures, perfect for the five of us. Very clean and Impressed with the efforts to be environmentally friendly even down to using bamboo toilet paper. We felt very comfortable and at ease here and it was the perfect spot for exploring Scotland.

Great Location for exploring both locally and around the area. Accommodation very comfortable with beautiful views. EV charger was a great help. Hosts available but not intrusive - just the way we like it.

The location was simply beautiful. It was at the end of the road, nestled amongst trees with views across fields, the loch and mountains. There were walks in all directions that were full of trees, animals, scenery, The property was very well appointed. Very clean. Comfortable bed. TV and DVD (with a huge selection) for any wet evenings. Excellent kitchen facilities. Lovely shower/bathroom. We came for a romantic anniversary visit and we were not disappointed. We will be back.

The listing said there was a washer which I assumed meant it would be in our unit. Instead it was a shared washer which you had to pay for.

The cottage was nice enough (although rather dark). We really enjoyed wandering around the grounds which were lovely.

Brilliant self contained suite which looked great in the photos but was even better when there. Was very cosy and relaxing. Bed very comfy. Beautiful location with great view from windows and very quiet. Great selection of dvd's and eggs at reception. Good selection of walks nearby and very detailed info about the area on hand to refer to. Hosts were extremely helpful and great at communicating re directions etc.

We didn't have a car, very accessible by train,just a 15 minute walk from the station. Very comfortable beds and so peaceful. But the best thing was Karina, so friendly and helpful, even offering to take us all to train station in two journeys if it was raining when we left. So kind!! Would definitely stay again if we're in the area.

Getting in the tub could be an issue for those with mobility issues.

We stayed in Clematis Cottage. Everything was perfect. The cottage and the grounds were wonderful. There is a laundry shed that came in handy too. We especially enjoyed the lambs in the meadows behind the cottage.

We feel so fortunate to get this house! We had an amazing time there...the location, the peaceful area, the trees and flowers, even the animals...waking up in the morning and having coffee with that view! We loved our little village. The location was excellent, near Oban and the lakes, really helped our road trip. We could cook and enjoy lunch at the house. The directions were incredibly helpful and the rest information included. :) Thank you! Hope to see you again soon!

careful of head room coming through the front door,i`m not particularly tall (6ft) and i bumped my head coming through the door for the first time.

Nothing really. Perfect for our needs.

Location was very convenient for us. Family live nearby. And those of us that don’t were all able to stay at Bonawe House - we booked four apartments! It was lovely to be near one another for a big family celebration and in such a beautiful setting. Hosts were great, easy to contact, directions were clear and we were even given an unasked for (but much appreciated) late checkout on Sunday morning.

Quiet, peaceful, rural yet not far to all amenities. A great deal of thought has gone in to the facilities - there was nothing that I could think of that wasn't provided. It was cosy and comfortable, and the directions to the property were accurate and detailed.
