The bed is definitely hard, even for me who likes hard beds! The bathroom is small but usable.

Free parking (or £1 for public parking next door) is definitely the highlight. Good breakfast especially with slightly reduced price if you book a room with breakfast. Double room was clean and spacious for two.

The room was not cleaned thoroughly, with some small bits and pieces left on the window sill and floor.

The staffs are welcoming and helpful. The reception hall is vibrant and modern.

Beds are on the firm side which wasn’t great for my back but that is to be expected for a hotel stay

The hotel is in a great location with parking and plenty of additional parking. With I is you know what to expect, everything was ready for our arrival, the room was clean and tidy, communal areas were clean and breakfast was great.

Toilet door didn't close very well

Very friendly staff, helpful and couldn't do enough for us and our children.

Bed wasn't very comfy and pillows flat. Room was a little too small to bring a baby as no space for making bottles etc.

Great staff and service. Great 24 hour menu. Good vibe in the bar and reception. Great location if working at the studios or family nearby. Great that dogs are welcome and he was very comfortable.

When we checked in the reception staff argued with us and tried to make us pay again despite pre-paying for our room. They stated that we had booked 2 rooms and that we needed to pay for the 2nd. When I explained that yes I had booked a second room but I cancelled it immediately (within the stated cancellation period) and already fully paid for the room we booked/required, I was told that I'd need to pay and take it up with booking.com to which I refused - after speaking with the management they requested I show them the paid booking confirmation plus my bank statement showing the payment and only then did they agree that there had been a mistake on their part and that there was no balance to pay and checked us in. I was travelling for a funeral with a 1 year old in tow, and it being late at night so really did not appreciate this stress.

Hotel had a small amount of parking and even though we arrived late there was still space. The room was large enough to put up a travel cot for our daughter. Ideal for a quick overnight stop.

Bit difficult to get 5 suitcases into the room. Wish the did room service.. OncecI was served a stone cold curry!

Nearness to Tesco, as we didn't hire a car. Also the tasty vegetarian sausages at breakfast. Nice, friendly, smiley staff.

We arrived late, someone was on reception to greet us, dropped our cases off and went straight to the restaurant for something to eat, glad the restaurant was still open for food after a nightmare journey.

The rooms that i selected it was changed :( though staff is trying to sort it out to transfer the clients but client wont agree . Please in the future double check the selected rooms . Eventhough its a promo one or sale staff should follow what is the allocated one .Its the first time I experienced and I am a good customer since 2011.

The location coz very accessible with the transport and easy access to the store . Parking space is the most important thing .

Excellent location for Elstree Studios as we were going to Strictly Come Dancing recording. Room was ready when we arrived at 1.30pm

The room was too hot. I turned the a/c down and the fan on but it just got hotter. I ended up opening the window onto a busy main road which was noisy.

We were in Borehamwood for Strictly Come Dancing and the location of the Ibis was perfect, directly across the road. Free parking was a bonus

We booked a family room as we needed two separate places to sleep. There is no way the sofa bed should be described as that. What if we had been a family with a 10 year old? No way could they have slept on that small space. Disappointed in the mis sold room
