nothing really, it was the usual Ibis experience.

Room as in all Ibis Hotels was comfortable & no frills . Location is excellent for Temple Meads Railway station, hotel located at the back of the station. Airport bus goes to/from the station concourse.

The building works all around the hotel,you take the rough with the smooth.

The tv didn't work properly but to be honest we didn't really have time to watch it. Bathroom light very bright if you need to go to the loo in the night - lights the whole room up reflecting in the mirror! Otherwise all was good. Suggestions if you were looking at the rooms in future - then a fridge would be a great addition, as would usb plugs.

Compact but very well designed. Great staff, very helpful. Fab location - unexpectedly quiet for a city centre. Although no parking on site there is parking available quite close by. You can avoid driving into the clean air zone too for both the parking and hotel which we found helpful as our car is an older vehicle that isn't ULEZ compliant. Shower was great. Very clean (except for the tv remote control). Great location to stay if going to the Marble Factory for a gig.

Most of the staff were helpful and friendly, sadly one rude member of staff can spoil it for the others. Breakfast was lacking and had to ask for a number of things to be refilled. Didn’t appreciate being told that I had to wait as they were busy (4 tables occupied at the time) and to go and sit down!

Noisy occupants running around late on same floor - can't be helped! Didn't feel particularly safe walking there at night - again, can't really be helped

The was industrial construction work taking place in the building opposite which meant that it was noisy from about 7.30 in the morning. This wasn't a major issue as I was there for work purposes and so I was up and about, however if I did want to lie in this would have been a problem. Quite surprised that the hotel didn't mention it either at booking or at check in.

Room was perfectly adequate for my needs. Based but everything required. Some parts looking a little tired but overall clean and tidy. Sheets were clean but obvious that they have been in the rotation for a while and perhaps need replacing.

Until June 2024 there is building work being done in the hotel, and several other constructions nearby. It didn;t bother me, but worth being aware of.

Good welcome at Reception, simple check in procedure. The room is a good size with a bench seat and chair, with a workspace and plenty of power points, so ideal if you neeed to work on a laptop etc while there. Wifi is very good, and doesn't need sign in password. Nice hot and powerful shower. The room has a hairdryer in it and a flat screen TV on the wall. Comfortable bed.

The construction noise.

The room was clean, bed was comfortable. Good location close to the station and the the city centre. Unfortunately there is construction going on at the hotel and in the surrounding area so it was very noisy from 8am until 5pm.

It was reasonably cheap and convenient for a night out in Bristol. Basic, but everything worked well.

I had a short overnight stay in between a late night flight and a train home the next morning. My flight was delayed and so I arrived after 1am but check in was quick and easy and the staff member on duty was pleasant and welcoming. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable if a little basic, but the bed was comfortable which was all that I was concerned about! The bathroom was like stepping into a caravan bathroom which was a little strange but the shower worked well. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of options and so I had a very good meal before my train home. Access to the railway station was a very simple and quick couple of minutes walk away.
