The bedrooms had no carpet and the bathroom was odd! But not a reason not to come back

£103 for two ppl with breakfast, room was spotless clean, breakfast was ideal! The room was extremely basic, bathroom is like a bathroom on a train, very very odd! However for the price location, friendly helpful staff, how clean the room was, the nice breakfast! We would absolutly stay again. Its everything you need for a stay to rest and be close to transport.

We paid for bed and breakfast and didn't get it when arriving at the hotel. The cleaning staff didn't make our bed on the second day. The hotel room we had was meant to be their new style which looked horrendous and very tacky. The lighting on the main back wall in room 315 was constantly flickering, the mattress had a topper on it which felt horrible to sleep on. And the bathroom looked like it came out from a caravan!!

Good walking distance to Bristol town centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times.

Young man on reception (didn’t have a name badge) wasn’t really very welcoming. Not sure reception is the place for him. His colleague was lovely.

We were attending an event at the Marble Factory, the location of the hotel was spot on for this. Yes there was building work outside and inside the hotel. We were informed of the inside renovations and it was a bit noisy when we got there but didn’t spoil anything. They started at 9ish the next morning (weekday) but again didn’t really affect our stay. Room/bathroom was clean and functional and perfectly ok for our one night stay.

I could not work out how to turn the lights off in the bedroom! You had to get out of bed and go to the switch by the door then walk back to bed in total darkness. There was no way (that I could work out) how to have a low bedside light on, it was either every light in the entire room or darkness. I have stayed in many hotels around the world, so am experienced in the ways of random light switches but this one had me flummoxed. So I gave up and went to sleep.

It was very clean and conventiont for the train station. Breakfast was very good and there was no time limit to sit there and have a chat.

We were informed of building work starting within the hotel until June, which the staff apologised for, but that alongside the new building being put up across the street did make it a bit impossible to sleep past 7 am. This isn't really the fault of the hotel though as otherwise a great place to stay.

The staff were lovely and welcoming. The room itself was simple, clean and comfortable. The location provides the best value being only a 15-20 min walk to Cabot Circus and Old Market. Perfect for an easy city visit.

The bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly from the previous person, which wasn't great, but that being said the staff on the Whatsapp chat were really helpful and quick to respond to resolve it. We were in a new room, my husband couldn't use his main plug socket next to the light switches by the bed as pushing the socket in turned the light off (iPhone charger) The light on my side of the bed was directly pointed into your eyes when in bed and couldn't reposition due to how it was hung, and the individual switch for it was on the floor the cable was so long, but my husbands was on a reachable section of cable. Just a few inconsistencies when fitting.

Really helpful and friendly staff, comfy bed and great location for what we needed. Decaf coffee in the room was good too

Bathroom facilities are still the same. The extractor fan fell off the ceiling mid shower. Not ideal. Pillows… only had one per person, one was extremely firm the other soft.

So it’s just had a refurb and that was evident.

The floor in the bathroom had a few marks so we didn't know if it was clean or not but otherwise it was spotless.

The staff were friendly and the room was clean. We didn't have many sugars etc for the tea and coffee but they immediately gave us a bag when we asked so very accommodating.
