How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Room was too small
The location is convenient. It’s just 2 minutes walk from the terminal. The hotel is pretty new, and the included breakfast was good.

Nothing, except breakfast could be better. Not worth paying extra for.
Clean and modern. Close to terminal 2. Nice rooms, and a good option near the airport for late arrivals or early departures.

Obviously they're only just starting out, but they booked someone else into my room, and the replacement room they gave me still had paint on taps and mirrors.
Super convenient for the airport, courteous staff, good price. When something went wrong it was quickly resolved. Great customer service despite snags

Bed up against a wall so hard to get out of in the night for the person at that side without waking the other person.
Booked as we were flying from terminal 2 early morning. So no breakfast. Great location for T2 and train station.

It was a bit of a walk to the terminal but most was covered which was good as was cold
Good choice of food for breakfast - we didnt eat a lot as was early flight but staff very friendly and helpful and plenty variety

The room was lovely. We would have preferred a higher floor as passing cars and buses could see into the room. This is just a minor comment as the room and hotel is good value and excellent area for the airport terminals.
The room was a small size but for the time we spent there it was perfect. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. We have booked again for future holidays this year. We had a lovely meal downstairs in the main area. Staff are all friendly.

It's basic! There's nowhere to get a drink or a meal in the evening, and there's no minibar, of course! It's the Dacia of hotels, but that means it is basic, good value! It does what it says on the tin, and nothing more. It's not a destination to go to for pleasure, but is a means to an end, if you have an early flight, and in that regard, it does it very well!
I am sure most people will be staying here for one night, because they are about to fly early the next morning, or have landed late at night, and for that it is perfect. The facilities are basic, and you have to order a meal on a delivery website, if you arrive in the mid-late evening, but that works fine. For a place to put your head down for a few hours before an early start, it's good value, clean, modern, and so conveniently-located, being directly opposite the terminal. You could pay a few quid less, and stay off-site, but the taxi fare to and from the airport, and the time that takes, make this on-site property a very good solution!

Modern, comfortable. There is very good signposting from Terminal 2. The hotel is directly behind the Holiday Inn. Keep to the left side of the Holiday Inn and the hotel is then in front of you (the modern, black building). Small bar and small selection of food offered...although you also get a discount if you eat at the restaurant in the Holiday Inn. Simple but comfortable rooms including bathroom, toiletries, big towels.

One of the staff was really slow and not engaging at all, the room is super small but it's ok for one night when you need to catch an early flight.
One of the staff was exceptionally nice and helpful and went above and beyond, the room was very clean and it's a great location to Terminal 2.
